Sparrow racing looks really fun, but was expecting to see a DLC pack, which is a little worrying. I was almost sure they'd show Snowy Europa and a Cabal raid (especially since dark below was already out this time last year)

Maybe bungee will go

Dec - sparrow racing

End Feb/star March - Europa w cabal raid (teased end Jan)

More racing/iron banner (micro transactions)

May - Updated prison of elders/old raids

More racing/new tracks/iron banner (micro-T)

July/Aug - last DLC (European dead zone) with vex (with evil traveller cliff hanger/ guardian exodus)

Nov - Destiny 2 (with 4 new zones Earth (Chicago), mercury, Jupiter and Saturn planet, and maybe maybe retooled moon/cosmodrome/new tower area)

I think they need as much time to develop destiny 2 so sept is a bit early. So most things that they have "ready" retooled bits pulled from vanilla destiny will be spread around this year as content.

This racing is great, as they needed something to keep players on board and happy before the next SLC drop which I think is Europa at the end of Feb.

Just my thoughts

Don't want this to come off as another "fuck bungie" post, but what's the deal with the weekly crucible bounties?

I picked them all up from Shaxx and the other guy, and straight off the one for finishing the rest of them auto completed. I cashed it in, and got nothing. Completed the rest of them and still nothing. Are they bugged or did it just bug out for me?

Same happened to me, I think iron banner bounties count towards it, and get carried over, like banking the bounty completions. So now you've done this weeks you have 5 completions 'banked' and it'll likely auto complete next week too. That's what happened to me.

Dunno about not getting anything. On my three characters I got, 19 strange coins twice, and a baby hawkmoon legendary. Eyasluna. But binned it. Hand cannons aren't my bag baby. (Plus was a shite roll)

Yeah Iron Banner counts, oddly. I did Iron Banner and got 3/5 for the weekly from the IB weeklies. Pretty sure Trials ones may count as well

The rewards can be pish Bertie so you may have not even noticed if you got 12 strange coins or something. I've stopped doing them as they were so bad, same as the nightfalls really.

We'll be lucky to get one additional raid in Year Two, and I wouldn't be surprised if there are none. We might get a few remixes of older content, but I suspect the brand new, substantial new areas and new raid-level material is all being put into Destiny 2, which I reckon will come out in September - they'll want to keep to that annual schedule for the main bottom-line boost. I wouldn't be surprised at relatively low-level DLC in the spring, and it might include a minor raid (or more likely a postscript to the Taken King story), but that's about it.

I don't think they need to keep players happy and playing all the time. As long as they're not pissed off when they quit, so they're likely to dive back in when a new chapter's released, they'll be happy with that.

I got a ghost from the weekly one but think it's random. Maybe you got 3 of coins?

My weekly bounty also poped early (lol) but I did get the reward. Not too sure why it triggered when I still had one of the weeklies left to complete. The reward is complete shit though. Are you playing a lot more crucible now Berties? We should Trials sometimes.

I can't remember the source, but I seem to remember reading that there will be no paid DLC in year 2, just more regular events, quests, etc. They're kind of showing this with the Black Spindle type quests, drip fed new/old exotics, IB, TTK challenges, ToO, and on Tuesday the Sparrow Racing League. I think this will continue until Sept when Destiny 2 drops, which I'm hoping will be a full game sized expansion, rather than standalone, as i don't think anyone here wants to lose their progress from 2 years worth of play by having to start all over.

I'm happy enough with this though. Since Destiny released in Sept 2014 the only other game I've played is Bloodborne. It'll be nice to catch up with MGSV, and all of the early 2016 releases (Uncharted 4 for instance) without feeling left behind or guilty for not playing 2 hours every night of the week.

So PvP experts.

Any tips on how to get 30 Radiance Multikills? Last I need for my Warlock emblem (the uncompleted quest is annoying me :P)

I can't even get 1. I know shots now counter but the firey screen ruins it. I'm trying grenade/punch spam with +Res when up. Any ideas/suggestions?

Alongside the launch of Sparrow Racing League on December 8, the Eververse Trading Company will undergo a refresh to include a new collection of emotes, new sparrows, and a special Sparrow Racing Bounty Book.

Wow. If there's Bounties for the event you have to buy, I'm not sure of my feeling

The weekly Mayhem playlists are great for these quests as your super charges that much quicker. Alternatively, try activating Radiance when you pick up rocket launcher ammo

Also spec for Firebolt grenades and Touch of Flame / Viking Funeral for your subclass perks. HoTPF helps during radiance with grenade and melee recharge if you have it, or Claws of Ahamkara for double melee.

You're better off with Fusion grenades for the PvE bounty (don't think killing with weapons works?), using radiance as often as possible too.

Yeah, been doing a lot more crucible. Enjoying it now too which helps. Gradually getting better! I'm up for trials, I'll be rubbish but will give it a go.

I was shit at first (yesterday) but I'm usually getting a kill per round now, I even wiped out the entire other team once earlier today. I wish I'd tried it sooner. I think having a settled team is key though.

Same person can't get the gaze more than once.

Same puddle can't be used more than once

Based on the Warpriest one, I don't think it'll change any of the actual mechanics, just apply a restriction.

Not being able to use the same puddle would be a definite change in mechanics for our team. Although not disastrous.
