Oh man, my subs copy of Edge finally turned up last night and read TTK review which has very much tempted me to return. I stopped playing just before last Xmas as was sick to death of the Vault non drops to get to 30 (forever 29!) and the grind. Is it really that much better now as it sound so much more generous?

Yes, TTK is much better. Lots more to do compared to Year 1 Destiny.

HM Oryx seems more generous than NM Oryx with the drops too.

For those teams struggling, might be worth mix and matching members to form a team of 311+ light mans to get him done? Just a thought.

It's definitely better. I'm not sure it's "generous". The big thing from your (not played TTK) point of view is that most of the good stuff is behind quests, rather than random.

There are issues with getting to the very max level (which is only rreally elevant if you want to do hard mode raid) needing randomness, but for the most part it's much better. For the most part.

So generous that it will give you 5 of everything you already have, but at a lower level then the original.

The raid is so fun. Last night we just had a good laugh doing oryx and chatting. We wiped numerous times (one hit left on the witches and I had no idea how to slam dunk!) but everyone just got on and we tried again.

I must say its one of my favourite gaming social experiences Iv ever had. That Rambo bloke was a great help too (much more than the LFG people)

Done the paradox Ghost shell hunting. Total ballache trying to make sure you never wipe. A fireteam for revives would've been much better.

issue with full auto is you are still holding down that trigger for long periods of time. which is in my opinion even worse than pressing. but you prob still have time before you need to worry about this chuck. like 6 months. I will let you guys know how i get on with my unreasonably expensive controller which arrives on monday.

Considering the price of this new toy I am expecting this to be the equivalent of grabing a tit. is potentially to do with our age but also these ps4 pads have stiff triggers. Design flaw in my opinion but maybe they are just trying to make us use the shoulder buttons as triggers as a fuck you to microsoft.

Exactly the same as me with destiny right now. I think the insistence on forcing you to wait until arms day to continue quests and a few other changes just did me in.

Sadly, I was talking to Dave a few weeks back about the same issue, and even said I was thinking of investing in a pad with auto-fire. My right finger has really felt it with Destiny, to the point where I've had to use my middle finger for the trigger at times.

Im pretty sure i have rsi on my right index finger.

due to my work trips I feel I've had a reasonable pace of playing and taking breaks so I am still dying to play some more of everything, specially crucible and maybe trials. I still need touch of malice, no time to explain, black splinde and an exotic sword. i just fear when i finally get to do this I'll either be by myself or playing with people who are no longer enjoying it. that's a bummer.

Ah, shit. Saw that Xûr had primary weapon engrams for sale and almost exploded with sheer joy.

Of course, when I looked a bit closer it turns out to be legacy engrams. Motherfucker.

He's near the Speaker anyway. Helmet engrams, Inmost Light, Nighthawk, Impossible Machines, are what he really has. Plus that other piece of shit thing.

Technically you can already buy weapon parts, but it's very expensive. 2400 glimmer for a green gun, which equals just 1 weapon part (whether you level it or not).

I bet it'll be 250 glimmer for 1 wp.
