Year two is all about scouts (and pulses in crucible) at the moment, yes, but there will be changes. And when hand cannons come back I am going to hunt markh down and do him in the bastard can you believe that roll Jesus Christ.

It's not the weapon type so much as the firefly/outlaw combo, it's just so much fun.

That Suros rocket (I know he's got the FWC version, but the same applies) can only hold 2 rockets with Year 2 stuff unless you have Alchemist Raiment.

Suros rocket = 2 rockets

Suros rocket + rocket boots = 2 rockets

Suros rocket + Alchemist Raiment = 3 rockets

Suros rocket + Alchemist Raiment + boots = 4 rockets

Compared to Truth that gives 4 rockets with just rocket boots. Just pick Truth for your PvP rocket needs.

Ohh, i'll stick to my Chronic dragon then - 4 with boots and 3 of those in the chamber!

Logged on last night and found that I have no idea about anything in Destiny anymore. Seems I have to hunt around the web and YouTube to find out how to do half the missions or to get weapons etc.

I really don't have the time to constantly and I worry they are focussing too much on the hardcore rather than those who drop in and out.

This is me also.

Thanks to metallicfrodo the other night I learned a lot, much more than I did the first time around but it's a complex beast.

The combat is brilliant though. You can enjoy it on that level alone.

I wish I'd stuck at it the first time around and been there when people were working out what to do in Raids etc.

Sorry for the noob question. Just started Destiny and I’m getting well fucked off with Patrol 101. All I have to do to complete the quest is to Collect Energy Spikes. I know the beacon for this is a stopwatch icon, but can I find one… can I bollocks.

Do beacon/ mission types move around the map or is this one clock icon beacon in a set place (Mothyards???)?

I read somewhere last night that my best bet was to just go back to orbit and do the patrol again and again until the energy spike mission comes up.

Advice please… ta.

Also if anyone is looking to team up etc then fire me a PM. PSN id is “idiwa” currently playing as a Titan level 11. Destiny profile HERE

patrol missions spawn randomly in the map when you load in. some areas simply do not have particular mission types in the table. i would jump in do a loop and then orbit if no luck. i have no fucking clue which quest that is though. this is just general patrol advice.

I'm the same... Can't find energy spikes anywhere.

In other news, I've done all the expansion missions, beat the Skolas guy whatever and shot the big Crota crystal thing. But my Moments of Triumph on Bungie.net suggest I haven't... What's up.

after capturing skolas you fight him in jail. in the shower. that's the skolas they mean. was the hardest thing in the game a few months ago. need a fireteam of three and no checkpoints or matchmaking. currently piss easy due to higher cap.

You need to have done the level 35 PoE and completed the Crota raid (amongst other things) for moments of triumph

go to the reef and see a stupid fucking sounding duder named varix yes? he will send you to the prison of elders. three horde mode style levels in the reef. first one is level 28 when you beat that i believe it unlocks levels 32, 34 and finally skolas level 35. fuck him up. he is an absolute cunt.
