Lol. I haven't declared anything as fact, I've qualified my comments with "sounds like", and "appears to". I've also said (more than once) I'm willing to give the hard raid a fair shot as I haven' played it yet. So, what, that means I can't comment on what I have heard and read about the raid thus far?

Nate, in fairness that sounds more reassuring. :)

Fair doos, I'm aware of the differences but didn't want to spoiler them for you - I wracked my brain and remembered you are a Man U fan - best I could do on such short notice and not giving the game away!!!

I have only reached

golgoroth, yes he is still in hard more

but was extremely disappointed thus far. Actually the team was somewhat confused at times whether we had launched the right thing. In my personal case I thought normal was so very amazing (probably best coop anything I have ever played), because enemies were not overpowered and all the complexity was in the mechanics and team work. I feel every single thing they added to make it more difficult just makes it more frustrating.

(less checkpoints more health on enemies enemies fire more tracking balls or now fire tracking balls most annoying attack in FPS history, etc).

But that's just my opinion and maybe Oryx (if he is indeed the last boss on hard mode) will change my mind. Or it will be better when I am the right level for it or the team becomes better at running it.

I just think it's the fairest hard mode raid they've done. That's not saying much admittedly, but there's no being one-shot by an angry Minotaur or meleed through a window by a thrall and I appreciate that immensely. The blind bubbles don't kill you - year one they would've. I got too close to a cursed thrall in the pit last night and figured I was done but nope, survived it. I get the disappointment with the lack of elements on the drops, but I understand it and think it's for the good of the game in the long term.

Can run it with you if you like. Have all the missions open so can do that next week post-raid

Just did the skyburner codes little thing. There is more to this one disposable thing in new Destiny than there was to the best mission in vanilla. come to think of it, what is the best mission in vanilla destiny? :huh:
