I don't expect mobs to change much at all. The weekly update refers to "another plate to spin" and I'd be surprised if that meant Taken Captains everywhere. It'll be a completely new mechanic. At every phase in the normal mode raid there is at least one person who is notionally free, and that's what's most likely to change. There will be another role to play.

That interview with one of the [unknown] Raid designers talks about the fact the Hard Raid was designed and tested first, then they "subtracted from it", to create the Normal, so like you say, i imagine there will be additional mechanics in play at all stages, and no spare man to 'cover' any hiccups.

In short: it'll be a case of everyone MUST stay alive at all times. :omg:

Not even going to bother buying that armour engram as it's virtually guaranteed to be yet another Crest of Alpha Lupi (290, of course)

Not until year 3 prob as legacy engrams, they haven't done it before have they? Plus the loot tables would be tiny at this stage, y2 exotics are now often quest related & I'd expect these quest lines to be satisfied prior to these being rewarded in Y2.

The Warlock hat would be 290 right? Doesn't seem that good.

Think I might buy a chest engram or 2 - my current is 290 and the lowest bit I've got. A 310 would boost that nicely.

Are you over 300 light as they can only decrypt as 310 if you are 300+ as I understand it - if not worth buying them and keeping them until you are over 300.

I'm a mighty 303 light. I've done 4 exotics since hitting 300 (and 1 legendary which became) exotic and got 4 310s

I've got the fever to gamble for MORE.

Stupid addictive Destiny.

Didn't realise the Engram was comparatively so expensive though :(

Remember all you'll get for Titan is an Alpha Lupi. I quite like that chest, but most people think it's useless.

Not necessarily. 2 guys have had the new chest piece from it - Twilight Garrison that allows you to dodge in mid air. Admittedly, its a 1 in a million chance of getting it, but you can also get a 310 chest if over 300, which is what I plan on doing later as all the raid chests I've had drop have been bloody 300.....

  • Runner-Up: Everything Else - No really! Everything has value here. DIS-43 is a balanced Scout Rifle. Uffern is an interesting low-recoil HC. Even the bullet-hose Arminius-D is a fun one! Actually, if we had to pick one we dislike: we're still not huge fans of Lyudmila-D & Häkke's 4-shot burst. (Great Range though, and we generally like high-Impact PRs.)

* Arminius-D is the only 200+ ATK, low-Impact Auto Rifle added in TTK (until Doctrine of Passing is out).

Woo, finally got to try (and finish) Kings fall in two sessions, was with randoms (due to my stupid unpredictable availability) but a nice group who actually wanted to meet up again the second time to finish it, only one guy had done it before so he kept quiet and let us make idiots of ourselves working it out.
ended up with an emblem, ghost, pulse rifle (with firefly!) and two duplicate sets of booties.
Absolutely brilliant, cannot wait to do it again, feel pretty confident with it now.

Did a nightfall for the first time in TTK too earlier, got the solar hunter cape so now I feel all badass and look like a Battle of the Planets extra :)

Chapxs think you are starting too early for me so I've jumped on to moose's team tonight because they need a token Hispanic comic relief for a hard mode run. Wish me luck:

Had some great games of crucible - the 2v2 one is pretty bloody intense and we made an awesome comeback to win the game we had - really tense with lack of radar but great fun!

I then needed an elimination win so we jumped on with a random, we had so many great moments in our win including the random dude taking the entire other team as they charged him - he was the only one left and had barely hit an enemy in the other rounds and how he managed to slap one, grenade the other and shoot the third in the space of about a second I will never know but massive props to him/her!

This being my personal highlight...

So 3 of coins.....

In light 250 and doing strikes for fear, should I just pop one at the start of each strike? If I die does it reset?

They last until you use them - you use them by killing an ultra, general rule now seems to be to pop one just before you take on a ultra but don't worry if you have one popped as it will stay until said kill!
