No probs. Harsin got a mate to help and I got a pair of boots at 303 or something, so definitely better rewards.

I should point out its now worth doing the crucible weekly bounties, as they've also buffed Shaxx's rewards to be the same quality as the nightfalls, and also drops ghosts.

308 helmet for me yesterday.

The Nightfall drops Vanguard Ghosts too.

I got a Ghost from Shaxx today, 294 so 2 better and now I am 302 :omg::omg::omg:

Who, what, how? That would be 14 light better than the vanguard ghost I have had for weeks now.

For doing his weekly crucible bounties - its a random reward for completing them all.

Court or Oryx is pretty good for getting ghosts dropped, my 292 and 286 on each alts dropped there.

Nothing from the raid thus far :hmm:

So I after reading recent news about this game I decided "hey, maybe it's time I gave destiny a shot.". Browsing PS Store I notice the demo - downlaod!

It's 18 gigabytes. WTF. I really hope I'm getting more than about 10 minutes of demo for that bandwidth!

If you like the game, you can continue your progress made in the demo. So it's a cut down version of the full game.

The demo's good for seeing if you like the mechanics (which you will, the running, jumping and shootingnare awesome). The rest of what you see is probably the worst of destiny: the early missions are bobbins.

Still, if you like the running and shooting, you'll like the rest of the game. Probably.

Court of Oryx hates me too, got two ghosts from it last night got really excited then saw they were 265 and 264. Cryptarch only gives 260 decodes these days despite having my best kit equipped.

Some say you should only decrypt stuff with a load out around 280 to get higher level gear.... didn't work for me but there are plenty that swear its true.

I shouldn't complain too much as I have had lots of very good stuff pretty early on BUT I BLOOY WELL WILL COMPLAIN AND STAMP MY FEET

Interesting because it was when I hit 290 the game started feeling less generous. Will give it a shot. Hopefully I'll get a decent run at the raid this Friday and I'll finally get that bloody ghost.

oh yeah that. no worries. it will eventually run. i was once locked out for two days because they announced an expansion and that broke the psn store. trust me. it will be worth it.

edit: note two days not playing is a very long time in destiny terms.
