Any recommendations for gunsmith orders this week?

  • Favorite: Tuonela SR4 - For a Medium ROF Scout, this is great Stability. (Hope for Rifled Barrel or Smallbore!)
  • Runner-Up: SUROS JLB-47 - A very well-balanced Rocket Launcher. Arguably the best Legendary RL in TTK!
  • Not Great: Strongbow-D - Stability is not what you want on a Shotgun. Poor Range seals the deal.
    • We also don't recommend the Aoife-Rua-D, due to poor Stability given its Med. Impact.

You're already in, Hexx. It's the rllmuk Renegade clan, renamed.

And hopefully soon to be renamed back.

Word of warning on the needle armour re-rolling. Even if your armour piece is locked it will still let you roll the dice. I was messing around with some gauntlets and ended up rolling the wrong ones from a pretty perfect set up to something quite shit. Have had to spend a fair amount rectifying my mistake. Doh!

One thing I did notice. It absolutely would not give me a roll with intellect and discipline from intellect and strength. All of the other combos but not that. Tried about 14 times.

Anyone at gunsmith rank 4 or 5, mind sherpaing me through the first curse quest? In exchange for reciprocal help now / in one week. You have to get seven precision kills with a god-awful white gun in the crucible that kicks like a mule and has zero range. Most I managed in one game was four. Someone hitting two PR shots to the body while letting me swoop in with a headshot is the only thing I can think of to do it. :(

I'm at the Crucible bit if you need a hand. Problem is we'd need a third most likely at least to get one person through it in one match of rumble.

Edit: This is interesting - Year 2 issues/bugs that Bungie has not mentioned at all

Here are some highlights:

1. The taken king ship doesn't drop after completing taken king story.

3. Year 1 strike ships no longer drops from strike playlist.

Same with crucible ships. Yet year 1 iron banner ship does.

4. Cryptarch does not give out year 2 shaders or emblems.

16. Old faction ships cannot be obtained.

But sit there in kiosk annoyingly.

The ships one is annoying, as I never got the new monarchy or FWC ships, and now apparently cannot get them it seems. They were dropping just before TTK launch post 2.0 (I think Lyrical or someone said they were?).

I need to do it and I'm rubbish at PvP currently so if you want to team up for a bit of questline fromage I'm all for it. Full disclosure, I still need 12 sword kills and I'm at 0% with the Last Word bit too!

Kinda gutted Trials has been postponed, but it's clear they needed to. Means more time for ranking up with Iron Banner this weekend at least.

I'm really sad as it means all the people who are much better than me at PvP will still be playing IB all weekend :(

I reckon zone control or classic 6v6, just alternate PRs and team shoot so one of us gets seven headshots. Next game, next guy, and so on and so forth. I think it is three shot head shot, in practice four or five... And only six in the mag.

Quicker to just do rumble and kill each other I reckon. Pick 1 guy to get it done per game, the other 2 are targets. Should get it done as its only 7 kills I think.

Yeah, pick a designated spot on the map to keep running to and meeting, kill the other two, rinse repeat.

Crap, just noticed I'm waiting on Tex next Armsday before I can do the next part of the gunsmith exotic quest, sorry guys... I can still do the rumble at 8:30ish with you though so you can get yours done.

I didn't find it too bad doing the Imprecation headshots. First game I nearly done it, I had 5 precision kills when the match was called early as we were losing so heavily, next game wasn't suitable for close range hand cannons (Shores of Time) then the next match I got them. I was doing the PvE part for ages, geting loads of headshots and nothing was coming up on screen, checked the quest and it was done. Stupid thing didn't pop to say that part had been done, I must have "Woken the Hive" about 10 times waiting for the notification wondering why it wasn't happening :lol:
