It's just like Year 1 though. Super X was SO OP and needed nerfing. They're all OP - that's the point. The old subclasses are still fine, people are just moaning about new supers they don't know how to deal with yet. They're as balanced as they can be as far as I can tell with my limited time with PvP since TTK dropped. Apart from the Nightstalker glitch, of course.

Oh and another thing. Jazz hands lasts at least 3 times as long as the Sunbreaker super does.

I'd really like to see a crucible mode without supers (we have one now with extra supers so why not?) as in IB there seem to be a constant stream of them and I spend half my time running away! While I'm moaning I think they should get rid of orbs in crucible too.

I need pointed in the direction of actually communicating with some form of customer support from Bungie.

Destiny worked perfectly well pretty much forever until about 2 weeks ago. Now it will verify my character but never log in - giving that stupid 'weasel' code. There is nothing wrong with my internet connection - even though I changed it to a LAN to be sure. Everything else works fine.

I just get that 'Attention contacting destiny servers' over and over until it times out - this is AFTER i've selected my character, meaning it's verified me on the server in the first place.

Can anyone help me?

are you playing as a hunter? it may just be that. try a different class.????

The guy played 83 games and got a single drop. That does not sound like what Bungie stated when they said drops were supposed to be the primary source rather than buying stuff. Should it matter he played all those 83 games in 2 days? Perhaps he was busy the rest of the week!

Yeah but I played more games than that in the last Iron banner and I could buy 2 bits of gear unless I farmed the shit out of glimmer, never ever saw gear drop in IB and while towards the end weapons dropped like toffee very rarely were they the IB exclusives - same chap can buy 2 things with full marks and got a bit of gear drop in 2 days so I'm not exactly seeing a drought here?

Sounds like an issue I had once when it just wouldn't download the update so it would not ok but then had a fit when trying to actually get online.

When was the last patch you had?

Can you force quit the game?

If on PS4 you could do that restore licenses thing too :)

Restore licences??

I updated it recently, so it should be totally up to date.

No problems. It was quick and painless so me not getting any drops didn't bother me.

So yeah, if you do the Black Spindle mission again it seems you dont get another drop on the same character you did it with a previous time. Good to know. Don't know if that is account wide though or not.

Invited you in earlier when you came on as Weavus was gonna make way but maybe you missed it. Luckily, Weavus had one more go and we managed to bag it with what must have been less than 10 seconds to go. Awesome Skolas levels of elation when it popped.

It's a crazy fight and my only advice is SWORDS!

Hard raid starts the 23rd of October, Trials of Osiris is cancelled (or, maybe delayed a bit) .

Loot drops will be between 310 - 320.

Worked a treat only completing one raid so far.

And I wish I knew this last week....

Killed Oryx, no raid weapons dropped (second time in a row), then he nicked my 20 shards and gave me a chest piece I've never managed to get, so fair enough. But he also dropped the Jade Rabbit, and at 310 to boot. Woo hoo :eyebrows:

Still no raid ghost mind :hmm:

Indeed, we hear you. We’re looking at the data, as well. It’s too early to dig in and make any promises. We’ll talk more soon, once we get a full picture.
“Why am I not getting my Iron Banner rewards?”
Iron Banner has been both a test of skill and your best gear, as well as a way to get a new set of gilded armor and weapons. Legendary items won’t drop until you reach Rank 2 with Lord Saladin, and the pool expands as you continue to climb the ranks.
The premiere items we believe you’ll want to obtain are also available for purchase from Lord Saladin himself. Subsequent Iron Banner events will include additional pieces of gear.

They did nerf Blade dancers.....eventually. So there is that. But it took ages for them to do so.

On the Iron Banner rewards front, I dunno what to say.

“How about those Nightfall rewards?”
There is another update inbound as soon as next week that will deliver more frequent and more powerful Legendary rewards to the Nightfall loot tables. We’ll save the specific numbers for the Patch Notes. And, of course, the best reality about the nature of those rewards will be found in your feedback.
Guess we'll have to wait and see.
“Why did you change the economy for Strange Coins and Weapon Parts?”
In Year 2, we took steps to streamline and simplify the economy for players, with hopes that providing more direct paths to gear and the stuff you needed to upgrade that gear would just be more satisfying across the board. Changes to economy of the game are made in the interest of preserving the value of the items in your inventory and ensuring that you have good uses for the things you’re saving.
Weapon Parts, specifically, have been particularly vexing. Some players use a LOT of Parts, whereas others use almost none. Still, we are very aware that this is a choke point for some players, and further adjustments may be in order.
In all cases, we're still watching our reports and listening to feedback, and we will continue to react to how things are going.

Make of this what you will, but it seems they thought players had too many strange coins. Even though most players actually dont because they've splashed all they had on 3 of coins. And now they nerfed the drop rate of them. Hmmm.

On Weapon Parts they reduced the amount we can get, then say that they are aware players are low on them. Doesn't quite make sense, but what do I know.

And of course hard mode raid on 23rd. Wonder if the drops are going to be more consistent or not. Like ghosts are now.
