I've never really heard of Spacker until really just now, and only when I looked on Urban Dictionary does it explain its meaning. I actually find Spastic or Mongo more offensive, but admittedly I still use them on the very rare occasion.

But to be honest, I use all sorts of 'nasty and unacceptable' words, and this is the internet after all, I'd be less inclined to mind my language but rather the person that gets offended realise we throw naughty words around all the time without any real thought but more importantly any real meaning or aim. So the person that gets offended shouldn't really get offended unless the insult was aimed as said person.

For anyone looking for exotics:

https://www.reddit.com/r/DestinyTheGame/comments/3oq2cq/3oc_farming_this_weekend_is_going_to_be_amazing/

This weekend, get ready to get a ton of exotics if you got the time!

lvl 34 PoE is the place to be!

Round 1 - mini boss Round 2 - Void Burn Round 3 - mini boss Round 4 - small arms Round 5 - Boss

That means you can use 3 3oC per run, and at the end get a refund of 2-6 strange coins on average. That means you can farm this all weekend with xur here and pertty much not lose any 3oC or strange coins. Rusults may vary.

A 34 run usually takes 20-30 mins, so you should be good on the timer in between the boss rounds and not hit the restriction.

It'll be next week's PoE 32 too.

Make sure you grab the kill 100 Taken Petra bounty, it almost always gives you a Treasure Key.

Yeah. It's unpleasant, easily reproduced, and a bit imbalanced. The same exploit doesn't work for Sunbreaker hammers, which is about the only positive thing I can think of. Bungie are aware; I imagine it'll get hotfixed ASAP.

I'm getting really tired of Sunbreakers in IB, although every single time I manage to shut one down I feel pretty good. Also: the moment you hear that CLUNG! and you realise it's the Sunbreaker on your team everything feels brilliant as you pile in behind them.

Notes from the Department of Vague Weaponfeel notes: I picked up a 295 high-ROF autorifle last night and am having a weirdly successful time with it, and I could not tell you the first reason why. Similarly, whilst 1000YS is all very good... I'm finding I'm gelling more with Stillpiercer in IB. Again, no idea why.

I've taken a break from double-knife/double-tripmine gunslinger and gone back to Nightstalker now I have Shadestep. Oh boy, shadestep is fun, mainly because of the slight blink as you use it. I now have to remember I've got the ability. (Using it alongside Quiver and Poision Smoke). Only disadvantage: it disables teabagging.

The thing with Sunbreakers is: they generate orbs near their team. A Stormcaller or Bladedancer generates orbs in the thick of the enemy, so it's hard for the team to go get them. But a Sunbreaker is just standing off, building up super for... all the other sunbreakers on their team.

Agreed that Stormcaller is a bit of a pig to get rid of too - I find the effects mean I can't always see them. Bladedancers are a bit easier to snipe, because of their limited range. And Sunbreaker seems to have this vast damage reduction, as opposed to the overshield of Radiance. I dunno, they just seem a little bit more impervious than some of the other classes. (I can't recall if Stormcaller is Damage Reduction or Overshield).

Lot of hate for Sunbreakers in here ;)

Before this DLC, us puny Titans only had one offensive tree, and that was close range. Most Titans only used it to shut down someone else's super (usually a blade dancer). Makes a change to have a good super instead of one you only kept in emergencies.

Stormcallers have limited range on their super though.

Sunbreakers just have to throw a hammer in your general direction, and it's an instant kill.

Funniest shit I've read all week.

Also, Warlocks have another 2 subclasses with a ranged super.

And it's not an instant easy kill. If you hear a Sunbreaker pop on the other team you run the fuck away. You can dodge hammers too as long as you're not in a confined area.

Is this week the first Osiris one for Taken King? Be interested to see how much use Team Solaire gets.

As I never played it, what was getting use in ToO before Taken King, what were the most useful classes? This is from someone who stubbornly used bubble in crucible before I got to go I HAVE THE PPOOWWAIIREE!

Never have, thanks. Not about to start either!

Mood - they all had their various situational uses to be honest. It's all down to how you set them up. It was rare to see a bubble Titan though, handy for revives and suppression grenades. Striker was far better - lightning grenades to cover downed enemies, smash with shockwave enabled was handy for taking out teams who insisted on sticking together.

A single Titan Defender was verging on pointless, but a whole team of Defenders, all with Alpha Lupi could be very formidable. 3 orbs per bubble, armour of light and shotguns made chaining the bubbles together a valid tactic. Pop the first bubble over where the end game capture point spawns and job done

Stormcallers have limited range on their super though. Likewise with bladedancers. Sunbreakers just have to throw a hammer in your general direction, and it's an instant kill. At least Gunslingers have to aim.

This is all about supers. The new warlock has the best melee, it can recharge grenades, he can get two melee charges, he can move faster when critical which is incredibly useful in engagements, and he can clear groups (and spec for a reaction super if necessary)

Bladedancer has insta swap and blink... Melee and grenade combo is great for the Nightstalkers; if you have that helm you can both tag opponents and use evade. My long term PvP build for the Nightstalkers is certainly gonna be Max melee and disc, hold on to supers to shut others down. If you have a gun that has the "supers" scope, over time you may be able to play as a "shutter down" of others' supers rather than a damage dealer.

I think it's too soon to nerf sunbreaker. Already on banner I noticed people got better at dealing with that super. I managed to trade with a few too, by rushing them if I had no option and getting a postmortem with my melee. An excellent trade when it happens.

I can't believe I didn't know about the buff to No Backup Plan til last night.

For those that haven't seen, you can now use a shotgun to trigger Force Barrier, and you still get the extended duration. It's not quite as brilliant as it initially sounds, as it consumes your melee charge to trigger the barrier, but no more trying to get the killing blow with your fists, just hit them with the shotgun :D You've always been able to maintain Force Barrier permanently with the right build and in the right circumstances, but this makes it a whole lot more manageable.

A welcome change to one of my already favourite exotics.

I personally don't find Sunbreaker more overpowered than the lightening god mode for Warlocks or the ever painful Blade Dancer. All of them are a bitch to take down.

I am not prepared to hear any of these bollocks! Nonsense I tell you.

Is there a list of psn players about?

there's a thread on the online folder. Also teh fun police is the main clan and there is an RLLMUK community in PSN created by Lyrical.

Just seen this on Reddit

Bungie Weekly Update from 10/1/2015

"Drop rates have been increased and are intended to be the primary source of rewards from Iron Banner. If you don't get what you're hoping for, you have the option to visit Lord Saladin instead."

Rank 5 and I got one cloak drop. Other than myself, I saw 3 cloaks drop, and one sidearm. This is over the course of 83 matches.

Bugger.

Yeah, I got the class item last night after getting rank 2, but it was one of the last games (and I played a *lot* of matches) and I was 75% of the way to rank 3 when it dropped. I dont think the drops are working 100% correctly, as lots of people are having the same issue.

Oh, agreed; I'm just still trying to work out how to deal with that super. There's a difference between "fucking Sunbreakers, how do they work?" and "they should be nerfed".

My main answer seems to be "with a super", mainly GG, but I find it a bit dull to reserve my super only for taking out somebody else's super. Feels a bit like playing Sunsinger... (I'd definitely agree that a trade that takes out a Sunbreaker is always going to be worth it; your team will thank you enough.)

Should Iron Banner be spitting out drops like you guys seem to want, you can buy stuff still and no exclusion zone farming ;) needed - its meant to be limited stuff from a limited pool so getting it all 3 days into the event would be ridiculous non?

I think Iron banner was exploited in year one and we are basing expectations on that rather than how Bungie imagined rewards would be gained!?!?!

Everthing's overpowered when it's you on the recieving end :) Personally i thing the PvP is the most balanced that it's ever been. Really enjoing the diversity in IB this time, fair enough there are a lot of Red Death's kicking about, but still a lot of Zhalo's, Suros Regime and Last Word's kicking around. For me, The Villainy is kicking arse.

Yeah, but Bungie expect people to get the stuff they need from drops mainly rather than buying them. Yet the drops are not really happening, despite getting the rank required for them to supposedly drop. Seems off.

Drood if your up for it, I'll be on in a bit and would like a crack at it to get the ship, as it didnt drop for me when I got my spindle and time was tight then.

The guy played 83 games and got a single drop. That does not sound like what Bungie stated when they said drops were supposed to be the primary source rather than buying stuff. Should it matter he played all those 83 games in 2 days? Perhaps he was busy the rest of the week!

Just had a few games of IB, my Sunbreaker got shut down on 3 occasions by overpowered suppression-based supers and grenades.

Those fucking mindless jazz-hands Warlocks can get fucked! Oh and sniper rifles too. Or anyone trying to kill me, for that matter.

they have done a great job in my opinion of making the new classes amazing. I understand this was important to encourage players to try something new but the old classes will need a remix and a boost I think to deal with the balance feedback. balance is about perception really so if 8 out of 10 people feel there's a problem then there's a problem. I don't really see it but can't deny the feedback appears widespread.
