So I've got a 250 pulse rifle that I've completely fallen in love with. Is it going to be realistic to try and infuse it up to 300 odd or is that going to take months? I know there's no exact science to it but how much will I raise it by if I infuse a 280 into a 250?

What's it called?

Might get you to 265-270 if infused.

Edit: beaten to it... I was close though :)

Depending on your 'role', a sword can be very handy. I always run with a sword for reasons I can't really tell you without spoiling it, which I'm not going to do.

A rocket launcher will see limited use, I'd go machine gun if you have to go for a ranged heavy.

Have fun, the raid is fucking ace.

You can Raid as much as you like. However, a character will only get one drop from each loot chest once a week. If you have 3 characters, that's three loot drops. There are 5 main drops and a couple of minor secret ones in King's Fall. There are checkpoints throughout, they reset weekly.

Is it the leader that saves a Checkpoint for the group? (I assume Checkpoints save so you can progress over multiple nights without re-running?)

Or if I went and got to (say...made up) Checkpoint 4 would I always restart from there even with other groups?

Also I've spent most of the day (in betweeen working :P) reading up on back story/lore....a) so much not in game and b) such a load of overwrought nonsense. :D

Anyone who is at the checkpoint keeps it through the week. If they then lead a different team, everyone one that team gets the checkpoint, and so on.

How do the new emotes work? I didn't get any with my TTK so I'm not entirely sure. Can you only assign one at a time?

I went from 294-296 this morning with a few goes on court of Oryx and Erisgiving me a 300 artefact.

I got a 295 ghost from CoO, which was nice.

Progress is slow but steady. I guess I'm just trying to race to 300+ for some reason.

I've never done ToO but I'd like a crack at it this time.

Bought that Dead Orbit scout rifle and will give my other one to my Hunter. Its way better than any other scout rifle in the game as far as I can tell, possibly better than the raid one. Would have bought it earlier but had to buy other stuff (exotics as well as the FWC launcher which will be really needed in Iron Banner methinks). Really is ridiculously good.

Only problem is there is a Firefly bug in the game at the moment that can cause your game to crash sometimes (booted to title screen). You shoot an enemy in the head and firefly procs, but it sets off a mini nuke or something and the game can throw a wobbly and kick you.

Edit: seems the crash happens when Luck in the Chamber procs with Firefly. The FWC handcannon has this combination of perks, so best to take that in consideration before you buy that gun.

Scout is fine for me, its only the handcannon that breaks my games, its fine if playing missions solo.
