Is there much point levelling up factions beyond level 3? I picked up the Hung Jury scout rifle from New Monarchy, which is pretty awesome, but there doesn't seem to be much else on offer.

When you reach a mere level 25 it triggers a quest which has a faction-based exotic class item as the reward. I'm halfway through my quest at the moment - for Dead Orbit, as they are the best obviously.

But there is no downside to pledging an allegiance to a faction, you can just let it accumulate in the background. Each time you rank up you have a chance to get some gear but sometimes it's just an emblem or a shader. if you don't want the gear you can dismantle it for legendary marks or you might get something worth using for an infusion.

Righto. I'm a 40 Hunter with about 292 light, headed slowly the right way.

I've never completed a single raid as my PS4 buddies are more focused on quest stuff still.

Anyone fancy helping me head through one (gently mind, I'm effectively a noob when it comes to em) ? All tips obv gratefully received...

PS4 version btw...

I'm at pretty much this stage, been busy with work so not really been able to get on at normal play times, got my 3 characters to 290 but a bit stuck now, not done a heroic daily or Nightfall yet or any Court of Oryx stuff, dying to give the raid a go too, I've not actually grouped with anyone except df0 once since TTK came out!

Things happen, people might not be able to make things. I think we are full up Tuesday, but can always stick you down as a reserve. I think we might still have that regular sixth place up for grabs yet, not sure how many are down for this week and how many regularly.

Mainly as it is past 11 and I get confused easily.

Well, it happened... A 290 drop from a 3 of coins, but hey.... I got a double drop from the one coin, the other was a 310...thats, 600 total, I WIN!!!

The wean also got a double drop in the same mission (daily heroic), again, both dropped together.

Hers was when the 2 big fellas are standing between you and oryx, mines was for him.

Plus I got the scout for the 45 fragments, good weekend in destingy.

Hey Chaps.

Anyone having this issue:

I am logged into PSN, when I start the taken king it verifies and gives me my players to choose from.

However, I cannot login and get the 'weasel' error.

This has been happening over the last week and it's doing my chops in as I spent €60 on the game.

Downing him for the first time was up there with the fist-pumping triumph of sending Atheon packing. They've done a really great job with this raid & the variety of mechanics with all the bosses is superb. Bravo Bungie.

Pretty happy with my drops that have taken me to 304 light. Now the journey to 310 begins, I guess...

Whomever came up with the "Get 10 of X" that might drop from resource nodes needs a kick in the bum :(

Equip a sniper and ADS, provided you've got the right ghost equipped it'll show you nodes further away from you. Once you've cleared out an area move on to somewhere else. Hop between the same 2 areas and it shouldn't take too long.
