First I've heard dude, what's up?

Yeah I know I've mentioned it a lot, but it is a pretty common problem.

Luke Smith acknowledged that they weren't dropping with any of the sort of frequency that they were supposed to, but after the chest at the doorway giving everyone in the raid a ghost last night, I'm wondering if they've stealth hot-fixed it.

I get the feeling it wont be fixed until we get an actual patch, but you never know. We did that part of the raid earlier in the week, and only one person got a ghost (Banjaxed), so who knows. Fingers, toes and other extremities crossed for next reset.

I think interpreting one excellent set of drops as indicative of anything at all is a bit of a fool's errand.

They've said they're looking at ghost drops, and they haven't said anything more since then about it. To me that says they don't know what's causing it - look at how quick they were to say what they're going to do about Spindle, about Shot Package, how quickly they shut down the three of coins weirdos. If it's an easy fix that doesn't impact anything else, they'll be on it. If it isn't it'll take a while.

Fwiw I agree it's annoying but it's also basically a weapon in that it can be passed between characters so you don't theoretically need the drop rate to be as high as character specific armour. I have a 305 one I'm just passing around as required. Eventually I'll get a 306 or whatever, and on we go.

In general I don't get the worry about 30X drops, at 290 you can handle everything in the game and the difference between 290-something and 300-whatever feels pretty insignificant. I'm more interested in synergy now. I think a 300-light Scout Rifle build is going to be more effective in the endgame content than a 310 mess. Once that's done it'll be about aesthetics. Then 310 at some point, i guess.

I got 2 ghosts with higher values than the one I had... 2 LEVEL 20 STRIKES IN A ROW!!!

Like I said, I've done a lot (filled up the postmaster more than once) and most still come out as 260-280. It has been a slow grind upwards from 290. I have a bunch of runes, including T3 ones & you are always welcome to join me for a session (Kyuss too).

What's your GT?

Ran it with randoms tonight for a bit and got a little lucky, 297 primary was a good haul. The level 3 tier is a lot easier this week too. Got myself a 300 artifact for about 30 minutes of fun. Well up for that tomw.

Done the raid!

Got a scout rifle, pulse rifle and boots off the big man. Got a cloak and a 2nd ghost in earlier sections.

I previously got a ghost and the (naff) fusion rifle so quite lucky all in all.

Bought some engrams off Xûr - 2 decrypted at 310 and 1 at 290 so did some infusing, finished up at 302.

Successful night :)

Everything I got from 3OC has been 310 today, last 2 weapons, last word (infused) and a 310 zhalo thingmybob (not infusing this arc spitting bastard).

Oh, strange coins... WTF bungle, destingy was bad enough without making it harder to get them. Only got 4 today, even after a good few strikes, dailies etc.

Dangerously low now. I wish you could swap motes of light for them.

I have found completing bounties and levelling up factions is the best way to get about 5 to 9 a day. Rewards playing a bit everyday rather than a lot in one sitting.

I got a 310 Hawkmoon from a Taken champion on earth patrol. What are the odds that the gun Destiny didn't want me to have in year 1 is the first primary to drop at 310?

Shame I find it pants since TTK patch. Infuse fodder methinks.

I think it's still amazing just need to get closer. You can now listen for lucky bullets qs well so you don't reload until you've use all three. I would defo keep.

If you get some of the Petra bounties done you'll get a treasure key sometimes. Running PoE 28 can get you an exotic from 3oC and Strange Coins from the chest at the end. Loot chests on patrol sometimes give out 2 coins at a time too.

The strike will only be there tomorrow if you did all the other bits today. I'll be on later though.:D

295 blue ghost... Back of the net!!!

I swear there's something in it this weekend. The drops yesterday were ridiculously good for me (helm I didn't have, 295 ghost I've needed for weeks, 310 hawkmoon!). Gonna be using lots of 3oC later to see if I can get some more 310 stuff.

Righto. I'm a 40 Hunter with about 292 light, headed slowly the right way.

I've never completed a single raid as my PS4 buddies are more focused on quest stuff still.

Anyone fancy helping me head through one (gently mind, I'm effectively a noob when it comes to em) ? All tips obv gratefully received...

PS4 version btw...
