Want more Heavy Ammo for Sleeper Simulant?

Basically equip sword, pick up heavy ammo pack, switch back to Sleeper and you get more than the 2 shots you would if you had Sleeper equipped before picking up the ammo pack.

Did he just end the video by saying "Yeah boy... Woohoohoohoo...You slags!"

WTF.

Second go at the raid and that jumping section nearly broke me again.

You got there in the end spags! :D

I can't believe that the chest gave everyone a ghost shell. I wonder if they hot-fixed something in after they said they should be dropping a lot more frequently than they were.

Been playing this, probably not more than 6 or 7 hours and I'm enjoying what little time I can get with it. Progress seems quite slow though, I'm only level 11 at the moment.

Just unlocked the Sword of Crota mission on the moon. Is that something I should be able to do myself? Last night I swerved it and went back to do that Earth mission where you fight Sepik's Eye, did that for the 2nd time and thats an enjoyable mission. Especially when you work as a team with complete strangers and destroy wave after wave of ugly bastards.

carlospie, I would say you should definitely work through the content. I'm enjoying it a lot at the moment and it'll teach you the basics of the game. I've been prompted a couple of times in the tower by NPCs to use the shard but I havent yet and I dont think I will.

I've got back into this at level 25 but with *loads* of missions to do well under my level (the entirety of The Dark Below and House of Wolves, quite a few main story missions). Is my relative high level keeping me from being matched with other players? At the moment I'm going through them all on my own and it would make sense.

Everyone's gotta have a catchphrase man.

Yeah boy, wooohooohooohooo..... you slags.

I dunno, I just can't see it catching on.

In other news, Bungie are completely removing shot package from all shotguns :omg:

One piece of community feedback that has been unanimous is that the changes to Shotgun perks were not enough to curb their lethality at extreme ranges in the Crucible. The prevalence of Shot Package on almost every long-range Shotgun has effectively redefined the close-quarters combat experience. Going forward, we’ll continue to dial in Shotgun range.
[Editor’s Note: Shotgun enthusiasts, take a deeeeep breath…]
With the deployment of Update 2.0.1, we will wholesale remove the Shot Package perk from all Shotguns. Any shotgun with Shot Package (depending on the exact weapon) will now have Close and/or Personal, Crowd Control, or Knee Pads. This change has not negatively impacted our PVE playtests.

See weekly update for more details : https://www.bungie.net/en/News/News?aid=13688

I'm looking forward to this change, I use shot package on my matador and it does have crazy range on it. I have a feeling a lot more people will start to run the chaperone - that thing seems pretty beastly and without shot package. At least it forces you to use up your exotic slot although a lot of the legendary primary weapons are just as competitive as exotics now so its not as much of an issue.

Monte Carlo is decent for crucible. If your Hereafter is 310 then you may want to feed it to something else, like 1000 Yard Stare, or the Eirene RR4 sniper rifles.

Hereafter is a very good sniper, but the two I mention above are better.

Oh I dunno, I think I'll keep hereafter for sure to play around with the blinding perk.

As someone who generally runs with a sniper in PvP, this news is music to my ears ????

Just in time for IB and ToO as well?

Terrible news guys. I may have mostly set up another Tuesday/Wednesday raid group. We need one more who wants to get in on it regularly, and we will need an extra person for Tuesday, and maybe Wednesday (not sure on that yet) this week.

Interested, yyyeeeeesssss? /Varicks

Whats the point of Legacy engrams?

I presume it is to give you something that keeps you interested in the game, with the hope that they will make Y2 versions available via the giant iPhones, that you can then upgrade to. Correct me if wrong anyone

Should I just use my level 25 boost as a new player to this game? Or plough through all the content? I imagine most of it is now irrelevant.

I'd work your way up from the start. You'll be pushing level 40 in about a week just by playing through the story and doing bounties.

You'll be fine doing the mission on your own. You'll be fine doing all of the regular story missions on your own, really.

There isn't any matchmaking for the missions, just the strikes and the lowest level Prison of Elders.
