I hope how level affects Iron B is really granular. One shot of a 310 jade rabbit into a 180 helmet should result in a guardian decapitation (ala fallout) and the word "LOL" appearing on the match feed.

With Lord Shaxx shouting "BOOM! HEADSHOT!" out of the speakers!

Its all very well people saying they want duplicates etc to infuse from raid items etc, but when the item isn't dropping for me at all, even outside of the raid (I'm not kidding, not one ghost shell higher than 286 so far, and its been what? 3 weeks? 4?!? that's a bit too harsh), then a drop is basically Xmas.

I'm still waiting for Xmas :(

  • SUROS JLB-47: A very well-balanced Rocket Launcher. Arguably the best Legendary RL in TTK!
  • Zarinaea-D / SUROS ARI-41: Both good, run-of-the-mill ARs; the SUROS offers more perk selection.
  • SUROS ARI-45: An excellent AR if you can increase the Stability with perks (to match the great Range).
  • Eirene RR4: Great Range. Gives you a chance to get a good PVE Sniper of an Elemental type you're low on.

I'll probably order the Rocket Launcher (to go with my 5 The Smoulder that I've had drop from Purples) and then the Sniper Rifle, really missing a decent one of those. My 1000 Yard Stare has shit perks, increased blah when behind cover! wtf?!

Also the test weapons are all PVE which is great!

That rocket launcher was the first legendary I had drop. It is very good, but I prefer the FWC one (The Vertigo). Actually, looking at it they are almost exactly the same on the base stats....so my preference comes down to the perks then.

Don't be afraid to order more than one of the same gun across characters. You don't have to collect the weapon on armsday and you can keep it for the following week to see if you can get a better roll. I did that for the Sniper last week and I'll hold out for next week to see if the roll is better on one of my orders, and I'll be doing the same on the RL this week.

You've been waiting for one Xmas or another since we played WoW together 10 years ago! Has Xmas still never come?

The game never mentions it, but Destiny actually has a basic cover system.

If you crouch behind an object which is around waist-high, pressing the left trigger will pop you up over it until you release the trigger, Time Crisis-style.

Also, Mr Ben's post made me really laugh, 3 weeks without some gear with a slightly higher stat! 3 whole weeks!

It's funny in a way, but in another its a bit irritating because its literally the only item I cant seem to shift above 286. All my other stuff is over 290, and stuff continues to drop over 290 in those slots, except the ghost.

Maybe I'm just really lucky for everything else except ghosts, or something.

Eeeuuurrrgghh, really silly design choice for the exotic sword quest. Anyone fancy helping me on a 300 light version of the Darkblade strike?

Which sword you doing? I have an arc one to do, and was going to give it a try on matchmaking (my last one for my solar went quite well 1st time, oddly)

I got the raid shotgun tonight at 310, my 1st 310 item. No idea if its any good mind, though I usually use snipers in raids/strikes.

No comment on the ghost front.
