Not sure if its accurate or not, but the following might be worth a try. I keep getting 260/270/280 drops, and barely, if ever, get a 290+ drop now I'm in the high 290's, so it might actually be correct.

This specific comment is taken from Neogaf but I've seen a few complaints like this in various places online, so thought I'd mention it.

Edit: Reddit is, or was, trying to do a survey on this of Guardians submitting their decryptions. Seems like there is something in it.

I dropped my warlock down to 281 and put 20+ engrams in and didn't get a single one over 280 let alone 290, earlier today I got 3 290+ engrams with my warlock forever 299.

I am not convinced there is a system, well other than the system that denies any ghost shells spawning of course....

Really think Ghost shells just dont drop that often, which is pretty broken when you think of it. Everyone I know seems to have had to buy the vanguard shell because none are dropping. Then of course once you've got that the only place left is the raid, which is another round of pot luck if you get one or not.

What's the betting you need 310 to do the hard raid when its out? Can you get that without the ghost?

Pretty sure I read that ghost drop rate has been noted as being broken and a fix is due so there is always hope!

Enjoyed this...

I joined the daily crucible to find myself in a skirmish game, well behind with the other team with heavy and my team mates on 0 points. Ended up winning in the last few seconds. For the first minute or two I was just trying to avoid dying, and had no thoughts of a come back. With about a minute and a bit left I find myself with my team mates and realise that we might win but we have to push.

Had a first crack at the raid today & got as far as Golgoroth. The mechanics for each section are quite brilliant & just cement this expansion as a fantastic job all-round by Bungie.

With all this ghost talk am I right in thinking that I'm a bit of a jammy bastard in having the raid ghost drop at 304 light for me first time? :unsure:

i had a ghost drop first time as well. i reckon they make up for low ghost drop rates in the rest of the game with high drop rates in the raid.

what's up with your radar and the enemy tracking is that gear or class? hunters are weird. I see you have the expensive dance. approved! Crucible is most awesome when everything seems to click. I had this match yesterday where everything I tried worked. also jade rabbit is a complete beast.

This weekend has been rather good for me on Destiny. Got another Exotic from a purple drop: Alchemist's Raiment. I fed my spare 310 Praxic Fire to it (along with a blue in between) to take it up to 305. It looks great too.

Best warlock exotic. Pair it with a Tlaloc innit

After initially disliking Tlaloc, I gave it another shot after hearing that having a super charged makes quite a difference, and it really does! If it fired full auto, it would be faster than Suros Regime's slower mode. It's a very good scout rifle. However, I may not use it all that much, as tonight I got...

Got an exotic engram on the last strike of the day. Another set of Ahamkara Grasps. That's 7 I have now. They weren't even 310.

Fuck RNG, fuck it hard.

And why does every single strike have someone leave straight away?

Also, why does the strike playlist have such a limited amount of strikes? There's some that never come up anymore.

Got the red headed step child of strike exclusive drops last night:

Jumped in with Moose to help him finish off the Shield Brothers as folk kept leaving, so stayed for the next one, and it's Sunless Cell, down he goes and leaves a big purple engram for me. Berties_Paw76 has found Darkblade's Spite. Ooooh, whats that? Fusion Rifle. <_<

Does anyone know why I can't place Armsday orders with the Gunsmith? I ranked him from Rep 3 to 4, and now I can't see any of the guns to order. :-(

You have to get them in before Xur leaves or you've missed them for the week.
