Just loaded up Taken King and got a green drop sniper rifle that's better than most of the weapons I spent the last year collecting.

PS4 firmware 3.00 is out, and with it comes that new Communities thing. I set up a Rllmuk Destiny group during the beta that currently just has me, Donut and Aimless in it, so do pop your head round the door and say hi. Should make life a little easier getting groups together for raids and suchlike.

Seems like all communities have been wiped, so it'll need setting up again.

Man, black spindle is available again today but a patch is due later to change the drop from 310 to 290. Anyone on at 12:30 to have a go at getting it?

Yes, as LeChuck says it is from Eris. I got it last night from the quest where you have to go to The Court of Oryx and use a Rune.

Obviously that would mean missing the 310 drop, but im not that fussed about the light level (especially as the raid weapons we are slowly collecting should help with infusing things up in future).

Package drop only apparently. However, rumour is that rank 5 activates the sleeper stimulant quest.

Just a rumour though based on a Game Informer tip that Banshee is the instigator of that particular weapon quest.

Is that two Wednesdays in a row the daily has been the Black Spindle one? Trust it to again be the day I have bugger all time to play due to work

So, another 4 attempts at black spindle, another 4 failures. Tried bubble sword, hammer rockets, add control.. Nothing worked for us. Was in the final room with just under 7 minutes usually.

That mission is everything that was wrong with destiny in year one rolled up into a 20 minute death march. Over-levelled enemies - check. Adds spam - check. Unforgiving mechanics - check. Knowing you are likely to have failed before you eventually do - check. I hated every minute of it.

I don't even want the weapon just the light. I hope they reduce the difficulty along with the light level of the gun as I'll never go through that again for a 290 exotic.

Your never-ending stream of Telestos continues to annoy me nearly as much as you, Scruff.

Anyone know what the gunsmith quests are like today? I want Tlaloc (and am already partway through Rank 2), so a repeat of last week's 'go to the Dreadnaught and kill stuff for about 15 minutes to get all five done' would be lovely. Anything in the Crucible less so.

Its actually fairly easy....

We failed last week, this week did it twice back to back (4 of us have it now) basically our plan was to run in and wipe the adds and balls of ass then smash the boss, rinse and repeat.
