Ah, so they're going to nerf the guns everyone's already obtained? Yeah, that's shit. I thought they were just going to nerf future drops and the kiosk.

I didn't read anywhere that they were nerfing existing drops, just future ones (and maybe the kiosk), source?

A) What's Armsday? I got a pop up to visit a chap to place and order but he just tried to sell me stuff?

B) Swords. Oh god Swords. I love Swords. SMASHY SWORD IN THE FACE

C) Is there a transmog system in this (alter items appearance to one you like?) I'm not sure if I should be keeping gear I like cus it's pretty? (Although some berk told me to keep all my blues?)

My comic genius is wasted here.

A. You can place an order for a gun with the gunsmith. He delivers every Wednesday. Its a new feature bought in with TTK. You need to level him up by doing field work with his guns though

B. Yes

C. No.

There is sort of a transmog system, in that if you have gear you like, but it's badly-levelled, you can infuse it with other gear you don't like. But there's no literal transmogging.

Never get emotionally-attached to Blue gear, Hexx. It's material for levelling other gear.

The first week it was like when Destiny first arrived all over again. Every new engram was a new discovery, bought a new perk, and was more powerful. But now I am 294 light , and almost every engram is 265, 275, 285, and the occasional trolling when I get a 294 helmet, when mine is 295.

We didn't manage it either. It became apparent about halfway through that I was inadvertently letting the side down, as my orb generation seemed to be all fucked up. I tried as both Voidwalker and Stormcaller at various points, and sometimes I'd hit (and kill) five Psions in the final room with a Nova Bomb and get nothing, or float around decimating half the room only to generate a single solitary orb. Very odd, and not helpful at all for cycling the supers, so we were just repeatedly running out of time with the end not really anywhere in sight.

On the plus side, I have convinced myself that it's not a very good gun and I never really wanted it anyway, so there is that. I do need a sword (and therefore to actually find some Hadium Flakes) though...

Yeah, I'm not all that fussed abut not getting it, I'd have only used to ascend a different sniper rifle anyway.

Its probably shit anyway, who needs an exotic that's not a primary, no final round no sale, etc.

*turns off PS4 and cries himself to sleep*

Quite often I've wondered about how prevalent skill could be in PvE whereas in PvP I know that there are just plenty of players much better than me. PvE I imagined is more about having time and practice against static enemies...Then I watched this:

That guys is a beast, he always seems to have set up his build perfectly so he has the right tools available. I'm guessing that hand cannon does bonus taken damage which must be good for it. That and it reloads itself when he switches out to shotgun to take down the orb thingies. I really need to get one of those swords, I had no Idea they were so powerful. I figured they would have the same sort of ammo (swipe count) as a rocket launcher rather than a machine gun!
