Such a shame it's a Hunter exclusive. The FWC vendor version HC isn't bad either.

That looks gorgeous!

I just had a purple handcannon drop which is essentially Hawkmoon. Loving using it, I'll get a screenshot up later.

Can't believe I hated handcannons at one point.

Sadly no, but you can do what I did...

We had a another fireteam already in the Hall, then I just kept leaving the area, waiting 30 secs then coming back. About 5 goes later I saw the rest of the party chat.

This thread makes me sad as I've had no time to play since Friday and I'm unlikely to get any time in for a while... Anyone recommend a good faction for hand cannons and scout rifles?

Dead Orbit's Hung Jury SR4 is an absolute peach of a scout rifle. Firefly, triple tap and a good selection of sights including a nice CQ high target acquisition one and a ranged scope that illuminates enemies in red. Allied to good base stats and (on the Dead Orbit vendor version I bought) a choice of extended mag or hand-laid stock for super high stability at the expense of range, it's not only powerful but versatile, thanks to firefly + hand-laid stock helping massively with crowd control and triple tap + extended mag being ideal for bosses, where you can squeeze out 29 rounds without reload. My favourite gun in the game so far.

Banjaxed and I just helped Hardbattle kill some taken boss on Mars and I got a legendary engram for my troubles. Was an arm engram.

Both of them log off and I start messing about with my armour a bit before going back to the cryptarch to see what I got.

Claws of Ahamkara. They're only the arms I've used on my Warlock for the past 6+ months because they're amazing. Result.

Well, we went into the raid last night to have a little snoop around in preparation for doing it proper tonight, and the next thing I know we've been there nearly three hours!

Bungie have knocked it out of the park, it has to be said. Very hard to find a criticism other than the absurd $ to £ ratio for the price of the game, but even then I'm not sure that is something to be laid at Bunie's door.

Ouch, I love that shotgun (it's called Immobius btw). My favourite PvE shotgun with the Dead Orbit one close behind. Can you run the quest again (from the abandoned quest terminal) to get it back?

Well I have managed a couple of hours since Friday - damn the realities of being an adult eh! But so far I am having a blast :) I rolled a Hunan Titan and I'm close to Level 10, just completed the encounter with Sepkis Prime last night.

I think I have seen a few of you ingame but I am going to need a decent gaming headset, if anyone could recommend any than I would owe you a pint!

Yeah, that's exactly what we did this evening. I'm now the proud owner of a 300 rated Artifact that offers the chance to generate orbs with Arc Precision kills. I also got my first sublime engram today, from doing the Court of Oryx: Chest armour, pretty cool looking chest armour, but can anyone spot the obvious inspiration for it?

I've got the official Sony gold 2.0 wireless headphones which are fantastic although some people have had issues with them breaking mine seem fine.

Not many, you get 30 marks for both the daily story and crucible matches and you can do those normally in about 30 minutes. You need 150 marks to buy the gun (if you are at least rank 3 with DO).

Nothing like a bit of early morning crucible. I only went on it to grab the 15 marks before the reset. :)

Following Spag's post on house duties last week, I have started adding recommended light levels to the list of chores maintained by my wife. She has absolutely no clue what the fuck I am on about. But I am having a good time with it. :eyebrows:
