People can do whatever they like, obviously. I just don't understand the mentality, and am worried that Bungie's fix (because there will be a fix) will end up hurting the many, not just the few.

Aye, this. In terms of shared experiences, this new content's great fun, and the exotics have been plentiful. When someone used to post a pic of a rare exotic in the olden times, the reaction was 'Great. Well done! (You cunt).' That's what you'd think. Now it's like, 'oh, they've got another ten exotics today'. It's just a bit less fun than it used to be as a shared experience - people can see that, no? But if people want to do it, that's fine, go right ahead. It doesn't make you Pol Pot or anything. That's not really 'vilification,' is it? And it's definitely not this:

You know what? No. I am not having this bullshit, downright childish vilification of those of us who have been using the three of coins how we see fit.

That bit you said about throwing your toys out of the pram? Myself, I think that's it, right there. Just play the game how you like, post what you like, and, you know, stop throwing hyperbolic wobblies if people say they don't like the idea of exploiting the coins thing to bag a dozen exotics in a day. Cos that's what people are doing, and if you can't see how that makes the 'event' of getting an exotic a less, well, exotic, rare one, and therefore makes the whole thing of posting here 'look at my new exotic!' a far less interesting event, then I can't explain any further how it affects the shared experience of this thread, a thread which you feel has been so fantastic. It just makes this aspect of the game a lot more workaday, just when Bungie have made the game as a whole far less workaday.

You are absolutely entitled to disagree with that sentiment, and indeed you and others have clearly stated that you do disagree. And all of this is fine - I will be perfectly happy to fireteam up with any of you piratical cads at any time, worry not. It's fine. Everything is ok. What's probably not, though, is accusing others of childishness, vilification, toy-flinging and needing to grow up, for posting a sentiment such as mine above. I think this is what's known as a massive strop. And it also happens to be the dictionary definition of 'ironic'.

Is that hunter handcannon not transferable in the vault then?

I just got the Agonarch rune fully charged. Apparently I need to kill all the champions again from each day, and then there's a taken ultra at the end. Dunno if I can solo it, but its supposed to be quite tough.

You can stick it in the vault, just can't equip it on the other characters.

Excellent.... 2 fusion rifles during lunch, did the nightfall, fusion rifle dropped at boss, went to tower, was able to pick another fusion rifle, cheers destingy.

And got 5, 3 of coins or whatever its called, just to finish booting me in the nuts.... Cant wait for nuttin' to drop from them, could they be the new 7 strange coins, cunts.
