Why the fuck does The Last Word have to do this flip every time you ready it? The quest is dificult enough, no need for that nonsense.

I'd wait till the next time a 3v3 deathmatch style game is the daily crucible game and watch the kills flood in. 15 marks means everyone wants to play that game no matter how rubbish they may be...

If you come up against a decent team then just unequip TLW and your progress wont get affected by death.

I really fancy this now but I tend to play most games on my own, mostly because I cannot guarantee when I can get on. Would people still recommend it if mostly playing single player with some online time? I literally know nothing about it so advice would be well appreciated. Thanks.

Managed to get The Last Word part of the Jolly Holiday quest done by being a really shitty teammate. Literally just held C during Control and waited until heavy ammo spawned... then waited until everyone had used up their ammo before clearing up with a machine gun.

Not my greatest moment but I'm glad that part is done with. The shotgun section after that was much more fun to do :)

The game us always online, and there's only some of the activities that don't have matchmaking with randoms in it.

I've played it all solo bar a couple of sessions organised via Twitter, and jumping in with randoms is great. Get in on it now, its fucking brilliant.

This is how I play most the time, there's always loads of people on though

That's reminded me - how have people ranked the gunsmith up so quickly? I've got him up to a little over rank 1 with the field tests (which reset weekly, no?) and a random drop, but some people are doing quests they get when they get him to rank 3... How?!

So we all know Titans are awesome and scientifically the best class, but how awesome are they really? I mean the hammer is, well it is a fucking hammer. The melee attacks are normally useless though right?

Well I have been playing around with Sunbreaker and specifically the first melee node that increases damage against an enemy for a short period. Was playing around, seemed to do a little extra damage. Was playing against a strike bossz wondered why my fusion rifle was getting crits. Special type of enemy? It was only a blue fusion, couldn't be that.

No, the Sunbreaker melee makes ANY hit against an enemy a precision hit. Fusion rifles? All hits turn to yellows. Shotguns? Same. Rockets? Oh hell yes. Was getting Dave and LeChuck to help, Dave got a 14k hit with a rocket launcher on a boss. Ghorn works, including yellow hits for wolfpack rounds.

Now this is only going to be of limited use. You have to melee something when the skill is charged. You only have a few seconds to do the damage. However everyone can join in the fun. I mean sure LeChuck has a very nice legendary shotgun at the moment, but he took down a level 40 elite psion in two blasts after my melee.

Thing is amazing. Could certainly help with some of the more awkward bosses and enemy types. Titan runs in, punches in face, bugs the fuck out as everyone else rockets/sniper the enemy into a fine paste.

Talking of amazing, the three of Coins exotic farming trick is broke as fuck and I highly recommend you get on before it is patched. I got really lucky, and my haul from about 15-20 coins was...

Taikonaut (improvement on my current one, as it has inverse shadow)

Heart of Praxic Fire (not a Warlock but still)

No Backup Plans (eehhhhh)

Crest of Alpha Lupi (Titan)

Last Word 2.0

Hawkmoon 2.0

Combined with me getting Boolean Gemini I have done really well today. Will probably spend a few more coins trying to get something else good (would love Jade Rabbit/that lightning auto rifle) while I still can.

Man, totally had my opinion turned round on this game. Sure the story missions reuse old levels, but when there is so much stuff to do at all times I just stop caring and learn to love it.

I'm not quite sure why people need to 'stretch' the Three of Coins usage. Between the Taken invasions, the almost constant clashes betwixt forces on the Dreadnaught and even just doing the TTK story missions, the game showers exotics at you. I've had 2X No Back Up Plans, a Ruin Wings, Obsidian Mind, Hawkmoon, 2X Telesto, Invective and 2X Crest of Alpha Lupi(Titan version) and that's without replaying checkpoints and deliberately killing myself.

As long as you have the buff active, it seems the game is very generous even when you're playing normally.

Field test weapons each week, first week took you over 1st rank with nightfall buff, I've found 3 or 4 of those random weapon things while on missions, then every time you level up he gives you a 2/3 part quest which gives you more rep at each stage.

The other good thing is you can order an additional weapon from him at each rank, so I'll have a Scout, Pulse and Shotgun from him on Wednesday.

Me and a friend just bought legendary packs and started playing again. We'd played at launch but only to about level 12 or so. We started new characters and noticed two things. Stuff dies quicker and there's more loot.

Yesterday I started a new hunter a boosted her to 25. I've been playing through the single player stuff in order. Does it scale you down to match the level of the mission? Only I decided to try the Fist of Crota mission and fuck me I didn't feel like I was level 31
