Weird that the legacy engram is two and a half times as much as a year 2 exotic armour piece. I guess Xur's charging eBay prices for collector nerds with credit cards and a burning desire to fill the gap on their exotic shelf.

13 coins is pretty cheap for those armour pieces, especially given that coins seem to be much more prevalent now.

What's the armour/light on the new armour pieces? i needs me some Impossible Machines (and only had green Gauntlets up until last night).

Then I need to decide on whether or not to roll the dice on some engrams. Shame there's no year 2 weapon, too.

Oh, and how/where have people been getting new Ghosts? I got a new 170 one when I started the other day, but that's still the only one I've had drop, and it's that that's keeping my light level down (at about 234) now. I might start getting them rain down on me soon (and, in fairness, I haven't even finished the story yet), but I wondering if they're quite rare...

Has anyone else got Red Death and Bad Juju missing from their 'missing year 2 exotics' list?

Berties mentioned last night that he didn't have Bad Juju and I thought I'd check and sure enough Bad Juju and Red Death aren't there.

I've only checked the app and on the Bungie site so could just be bugged but I know they were definitely in the tower in Tuesday as I remember checking out all the new perks.

Both originals are sitting in my year 1 vault so definitely have them.

So, I'm a Titan.

Can I buy the non Titan gloves, and infuse them into my purple gloves raising them to 280? Is that how it works?

I haven't tried to infuse anything with an exotic yet so I can't answer that sorry. One thing to note is it doesn't jump to the exact value of what you infused, i'm pretty sure its just over 80%.

Blues into a year one exotic only?

No, I bought the Year 2 version of Saint 14 for 125 legendary marks at the kiosk near the vanguard armory.

You should be able to put blues into any year 2 exotic as far as im aware as long as the defence value is higher.

So folk have started farming for exotics using the 3 of coins:

"I've been farming Scourge of Winter story boss. Get the checkpoint outside his chamber. Pop coin, snipe boss low, run in and rocket suicide to kill him. If he dropped loot, it'll still be there. Rinse and repeat. Within 15 coins, I've gotten 3 chest exotics."

Not bad really. Spent a few coins on that little lot but I did well considering they all fell for my Titan and not the other characters. Happy to have two of the new helmets in bag already, and all of them are 290 defence (so higher rates than the one he is selling).

Almost in to the 280's now. Bit of court of oryx later and the dailies and I reckon I should be pretty decent for raiding at 9.

One question - what's the deal with nightfalls again? I can run more than once across my main to get marks, but won't get drops for him after the first one?
