On another note, has anyone else run into any glitched quests? I've got one for my titan that says I have to level the defender class to the maximum, and I did that last year.

I had that but going to Orbit and then returning sorted it.

Where are people playing the level 36 strikes? I only have Easy (level 20) and Impossible ones available.

Sounds like some of you guys are getting good drops. Mine have been...disappointing so far.

I'm not at all bitter that people are getting Revenant drops now after it took me so long to get ;)

Your current light level determines the quality of the drops from faction packages. Hence why after all the drops I got yesterday I am still only at light 241.

Never mind, this gear will get me on the road and I can always dismantle it for legendary marks later on or infuse it with higher rated stuff that drops.

What element did you go for?

I chose Solar, because:

a). Those Taken Captains are cunts, so out-swording them will make life easier.

b). From a defensive standpoint, there is way more Arc and Void shit flying at your head on a regular basis, so being able to 'block' it should be a godsend.

Good to know. I'm not sure what damage is flying around just now. Too busy jumping and running for my life to notice.

I am working with this sweet pulse rifle which I am loving. I haven't even unlocked perks, which are also awesome. I got really lucky with this one I think. Not quite Red Death though. And I haven't tested on cruzibel.

Any consensus on the best Armsday gun?

I ordered the Pulse rifle (Herja D) and had it delivered. Not tested it much but it's 280 attack. Able to reorder again so went with the Suros Scout rifle.

When is it delivered? I thought it was the following week. I ordered the Suros scout this morning. That Pulse looks very sweet too although I think I'll go shotgun just so I can equip 2 x 280s

Did get what looked like a legendary fusion rifle during a Strike which wasn't a weapon but something to be traded back to the Gunsmith, not sure if that or the being logged in early caused it.

I've had a couple of phantom purple engrams off big bosses that didn't show up in my inventory, but did under Mission. As far as i can tell you take them to the Gunsmith for rep. I hadn't reached Rank 1 but that fusion rifle pushed me over and allowed me to make an order for next Wed.

Wasted a few Marks earlier ascending my purple class item with blues, only for something better to drop two minutes later. Now i'm aware i could use that new item to buff it even further, but its vicious circle that'll probably leave me broke. lol!

Must be a reset glitch as I also got the fusion rifle thingy. Pushed me over Lvl 2 with the gunsmith and I got a legendary autorifle for my troubles. Sweet!

I'm using an auto rifle that has the same perk as the one the gunsmith had us test. After a kill it shows chests/resources. Really handy on the Dreadnaught, as well as the other locations. Its not very good in crucible though, unless that was my poor aim due to being totally knackered last night :lol:

The 2 rocket launchers I've had aren't bad stats wise, but without a tracking perk they're almost useless for anything other than splash damage in PvE. Totally useless in Crucible mind.

Edit: You can chest farm on the Dreadnaught like the old days btw. Open chest, run out of the "zone" then come back quick and you can open it again. Might not sound amazing, but that sword quest will be done a hell of a lot quicker and less painfully.

I managed to get to rank 2 with Banshee but the fucker gave me the Suros Dis-43 scout rifle with two identical fitted stock perks :quote:
