One question: what is happening with armour? Is it a rarity refresh like the weapons, where bog-standard whites & greens are gonna be better than what we're currently wearing. Will this lead to weeks of ugly, mish-mash characters, striving for their perfect Tier 5 Intellect set-up?

I believe the new stuff will drop at higher values than year one, even if it is only green and blue.

That is only thing that worries me about you guys raiding. I believe we had to approach VoG with at least all purples/defeat Shen Long to stand a chance. Whilst I believe all you fuckers who can actually play every evening will get to 40*, I do wonder how kitted out you can get by that point, and how viable the raid is. Hopefully you can at least get some of that sweet, sweet loot. All I mean is just temper expectations - we don't even know if Bungie will pull a light level lock on it yet (I mean, can they even do that?)

If this all sounds bitter I won't even get to attempt the raid for a week a two after it launches...you are correct.

Faction packages guarantee a legendary now, so it's been worthwhile edging them slowly over the past few weeks, I'll be opening at least 10 tomorrow. I'll likely be swearing heavily as I get shit drops over and over (see House of Wolves Day 1) but theres always the chance RNG will be kind.

I had to finish the Weaponsmith testing over the weekend without completing a Crucible match as this would tip me over the crucible rep limit!

My plans have been scuppered, was due to leave work at lunchtime tomorrow, get a few hours of TTK done in the afternoon before the sprogs get home from school, now I've been asked to attend a meeting at 3pm. Fuck! Don't they know what day tomorrow is?????

Loving the new crucible game types. Rift definitely comes into its own when you can get a team together for it. Had a good laugh with some mukkers last night and managed to get my first phantom medal too!

Looking forward to some new PVE stuff on Tuesday, and a first raid attempt on Friday! I just hope I can get myself to whatever level is needed for the raid in time - I presume that wil be 37 based on all the other activities?

I have been complaining all day at work today from a variety of symptoms. I am simultaneously developing food poisoning, the flu, a cough, a migraine, low blood sugar levels and eczema. I have zero change to be in the office later in the week. Lol

So I did a couple of strikes this morning... Did one I've never seen before!

Are all strikes unlocked for me now as well as all crucible stuff?!

Also I got no loot at all, is this till TTK drops?

Did the nightfall on my second character and got Starfire Protocol!

So the drops are working?

Confused.
