I see they've gotten rid of the free ammo when you're completely out of all types. Cue me standing at Phogoth door solo, waiting for the pack to timer out... :coffee:

Also, can't remember who asked, but enemy Arc waves definitely don't go through Ward of Dawn. It nullified Sardon's sword smash, good & proper. Good for anyone who still hasn't done Skolas.

So what's the deal with the sub-class quest-lines? I hope its a decent reward after all this faffing about?

Forgot to mention, but Hawkmoon now makes a different noise when you shoot and its one of the 3 rounds that do more damage. I'm assuming this will be the same with other guns with luck in the chamber too.

Also, trading in 5 motes of light to one of the 3 factions gives 125 reputation (with nightfall bonus, but it will still be more than heavy ammo synths). Might be worth doing it that way if, like me, you had way over 400 motes of light.

Well that was a waste of 99p, Red bull code did not work :lol: .

Just tell the seller, a mate of mine bought 10 and 4 of them didn't work - the seller gave him 8 more and said that people have cracked the codes so he was having issues, all 8 worked...

I suspect the ebay sellers are selling dodgy codes unless they really, really like redbull!

I just took all three factions from Rank 0 to edging 3, using Motes and Heavy Synths. It was a lot cheaper than i expected. Now its all about how much existing Marks will convert to for an extra bumpf on Tuesday.

Every block of 50 gets turned into a commendation worth 250 rep. The way factions are working now, these may give you rep for vanguard/crucible AND your pledged faction.

If you've got motes / armour mats / heavy ammo to burn, they're a lot more generous with giving out shaders and ships since the patch. It's also worth edging to 25 if you can, so you've got questy stuff to do next week.

It's worth going for heavy over motes with Xur too if you're planning on doing this, works out a wee bit cheaper.

No, definitely save some. Some of us have them in abundance. I'd recommend saving enough for whatever he'll have on sale next week. Bungie have said he still 'likes' strange coins, whatever that means!

I imagine its going to be strange coins going forward as they are part of the collectors edition.

Heh, let's see if the stranger's rifle is actually any good. I can see me getting to at least level 25 with my Titan before TTK hits. Meaning I can use the boost on a Hunter to have three characters. :D

This is my plan, started the new story run through with a warlock last night (level um 3 so far, bit of a way to go) and then will probably use the boost to make a Titan.

Not sure how long I can be unfaithful to my beloved and now finally lv34 hunter though...we've been through a lot together in a few short months (only got sucked into this game in July!!)

Its a really really good gun, oddly enough. I mullered people with it the first Crucible game I played. The scope is great, stability is strong and it hits hard with high fire rate.

I levelled it up as much as is possible at present ready for next week when we can raise the attack value on it with marks. No idea if that makes it exotic or just raises the attack value mind.
