Fair enough. It's only emblems that you're awarded right?

The Faction quests reward something better, I imagine.

You still get the legendary (220 light) class item, you just don't get the shader or emblem you should also receive.

I did mine on Septic Prime, at the start turn around and goto the bunker with the 3 hive majors where the patrol starts. You might need to soften them up a bit first to make sure you kill all three at the same time. Once you have done that just leg it back and finish the strike. The undying mind strike also has a lot of majors you could do it on. If you do it with randoms don't hang about, even with two people you only have about 13 minutes if they are any good.

Yeah, Divisive Mind is a good shout, just go in with a Fireteam to eliminate the random factor. The middle section with the stairs infinitely spawn enemies (including majors) until the the big floaty thing whose name escapes me is destroyed. It's a veritable orb festival. A Titan can get his bubbly stuff done there really quickly too. The boss is also great for orbs.

If you are talking about the Undying Mind Strike you probably mean the cyclops called the divisive oculator (how could you forget this!). Please read the grimmoire to find out more details. Or just ask nolanbot after the upgrade. :sherlock:

So I am just mucking around on patrols when I get a weird message and nolandroid has started talking, I have an unknown mission sat at 0% that I didn't pick up and the clue to it is ?????????????

Any ideas?

Ha, I have worked it out - some kind of random task...

I had to dance then make orbs and finally get head shots - no idea what its for as no reward just nolandroid whitening on

True fact, I've only played that strike once. I forgot it even existed as its not in any rotation.

I don't play this constantly so I'm a bit of a casual :blush: but I'm glad Light has been separated and traditional levelling is an option - it actually gives me a bit more incentive to play rather than messing around with trying to get the right items or whatever. :) I already had a full legendary set from my vanguard but anything beyond 32 was unattainable; now that I can do old-school levelling I kind of have a reason to go back to this game.

I quite like the new patrol mission type with the timer icon that's been added. I had one in Ember Caves on Venus, basically you have to make it speedily between energy areas to build up to 100%, each will give you 20% and then disappear but when you aren't in them you loss that % quickly. I presume there are other new types but I haven't seen any others yet.

Also it's amazing how just slight changes to something you know so well can really throw you. Even the title music felt wrong when I booted it up for the first time after the upgrade. Also currently not really liking Nolanbot at all. Although I suppose it is nice to have some new dialog, including when you start patrols.

I'm glad I told Gorf not to turn in the sub class quest until next week now for the XP. We were umming and ahhing over it for a good....2 minutes or so.

Do you get the shader as well as the emblem on completion of them, when you're supposed to get the sub class item as well? I checked that Reddit thread, but there's no mention of the shaders.

Basically dont turn the finished quest in to your vanguard mentor until TTK is launched properly. You (should) get all the rewards, as well as a chunk of nice XP.

Edit: On a slightly related note, you might have noticed that the Special Orders Terminal is no longer in the tower, and that the Shader terminal is now in its place.

What you probably did not know however, is that almost all, if not all, of the emblems and shaders from codes have bloody vanished from the game!! They were supposed to be added to their respective collections terminals, yet they aren't. Oracle99 and Double Banshee shaders are missing from the shader collection terminal for example.

I've posted about it on Bungie's feedback part of the forum, but whether anything is done about it is anyone's guess.

If anyone was expecting the Suros weapon pack weapons to be worth collecting from the postmaster then you are going to be disappointed. Looks like they will be all green level 7 weapons with 160 attack (same as any other old 331 weapon is now)

I dont know whats clicked but I cant turn it off, the new XP levelling is just so much better for idiots like me who gave up.

So this whole vault thing, do they still have to be done with 2 friends not randoms? If anyone fancies a crack at one i'd love to buddy up.

Dave, i would like to have a go at that. I am level 33, always wanted to do a raid, but somehow missed out. I dont have the expansions, so it would have to be the first raid, if thats ok? Available most evenings and sometimes in the morning between 9:15-11:45.

Oh, thats presuming you are on the PS4?

This place is predominantly PS4, and that's cool, but us Boners are in the minority's and, rightly, getting drowned out by you boys. Why's it such a bad thing for me to try and rally my troops?

If it sinks, then cool. But, if it floats then all the better. I honestly just think we don't get anywhere because it's so PS4 focused. Don't be so naive to think that we should just slink off to the online folder. We all like the game equally.

Crack on. There's quite a few xbox one players. A thread would be good.

Just checked the shader collection and I cant see any shaders that could be from the sub-class quests (the TTK ones all seem to be from TTK quests, with no mention of sub-class quests, and there aren't enough shaders of the same "type" (legendary or rare) to be from them anyway).

Seems its only the emblems people are missing if they completed the sub-class quests.

Edit: Eva is selling all 3 TTK shaders at the moment if anyone's interested (Chrysanthemum included) .

Anyone order TTK from Game? I got a email last week saying they would be taking payment from Monday onwards but it hasn't been taken yet, not shipped obv - anyone with a Game order thats had payment taken?

Yeah, me. Ordered the overpriced tat version. Said they'd process from 7th but nothing yet.

Not been cancelled either so should be fine.
