Nechrochasm still seems a massive pile of shit in PvP, got killed by a whole load of Red Deaths and I am rubbish with Hopscotch Pilgrim.

On my hunter I had to go talk to the Hunter vanguard for the level 30 cloak (130 def) then go to orbit for it to register I was actually 34 and go back to the tower and talk to him again for an upgraded version (170 def I think)

Also did the first blade dancer step which requires you to kill 50 enemies with grenade arc blade or super and they didn't register at all in a patrol until changed some talents around.

Didn't get any new stuff from public event , faction or cryptarch packages

Bloody hell, everything's different & I don't understand any of it. I've spent so many hundreds of hours with this game that the numbers, stats, menus & interface are all burned into my memory, so to have it all changed up is a bit confusing & disorientating right now.

Automatically dismantled a blue (cos you know, it's blue so it's worthless isn't it...) Warlock bond that Ikora Rey gave me for talking to her a few times about something or other & then realised that it had a higher defence/light value than any legendary or exotic I already had. Didn't occur to me that it was actually a Year 2 blue item, so is a step above anything from Year 1 stats-wise. Bugger.

Had a quick game of Rift, which was bonkers & I agree that being in a team is going to be a must for that mode. Necrochasm still pretty shite as far as I could tell & there's little doubt that my days of dealing out death with the unstoppable combo of Hopscotch & Felwinter's are done.

Probably shouldn't get too attached again though because I've told myself that I absolutely refuse to pay & endorse the extortionate £40 asking price for TKK.

I just got a blue cloak from the vanguard and automatically dismantled it without even looking at the stats. :facepalm:

played one crucible match. used necrocasm which I upgraded using half a mote of light, I had a very positive first impression, found the new map very nice looking but somewhat confusing, I have some bad news about thorn though.

off to work now lol

i will almost certainly get sick at work imminently

i like nolanbot but agree merchant would have been epic

I honestly don't know why you're so against it, or even commenting on it. It was quite a naive question aimed at people who were playing on Xbox. Last I heard, you didn't have one, so I'm not sure why you're answering for them.

Jon, I don't 'know' you on these forums, but i have seen you have console arguments in other threads on these boards and ive hardly ever seen you post in here either, so on that note, drop this debate, no other Xbone users have rallied since you suggested the xbox thread and unless you have something to say about the game itself maybe it will be best not post anything.

Gorfs suggestion in the Online area was a good start to at least work out the Xbone players, heck put a link to it in your signiture if you're that bothered, but the people in this thread here dont care who is what console, its about who plays the game and their opinons/questions on it.

I dont want to come over harsh but this is a great thread, full of top guys and gals that all share an interest in the best average game ever made, and im sorry for you that the vast majority of us are PS4 owners. So with that we dont want people coming in and rocking the boat and causing bad vibes when they ask something and dont get the response they wanted!!

some other anecdotes went to decrypt a legendary engram got an exotic helmet I didn't already have. maybe the cryptark isn't a troll anymore or he is more clever and is setting me up for later deeper disappointment

playing crucible using weapons i had not previously used in a map I didn't know and with shaders applied to exotics which made everyone look different felt like playing a new game altogether

raiding will be epic

Yeah, I kept trying to restart it, but it didn't do anything. Just the same message. I'm guessing the servers were getting hammered and it'll sort itself out. Hopefully it'll be all sorted by the time I get home from work tonight.

And don't worry about Poop Who, he's just being a cheeky scamp.

I'm definitely not knocking off sick when I'm genuinely ill.

That would be a waste. How could one play Destiny in that state?

Everyone is going to look terrible for a while while we min/max gear for stats, my hunter already has gone from Moon Knight to Harley Quinn in a paintball match in a couple of steps

Ah yes, remember how we looked as a lowly level 63 in Outland? That yellow hard hat was excellent though, I think my Warrior still has it.

edit: now is a good time to clear out the Vault. I find it difficult to decide what to shard. Exotics are unique and worth keeping (yes, even you No Land Beyond), but what about Legendary stuff? I have most of Crota's drops and I can not bring myself to shard it. But, when I apply that "logic" to stuff from Vault of Glass, Varik and the Queen I already have 55 spots filled.

Spent 10 minutes in it before work. I have a quest to do where I need to reach level 30, even though I'm level 33. I don't know what this means.

I also picked up an abandoned quest to talk to the speaker, then went and spoke to the speaker but he just wanted to sell me things.

Love the terminals stuff and ALL THAT SPACE in my locker. WHOOP. It'll take a bit of getting used and OH GOD WHERE IS ERRIS MOON but I also agree it looks very sparkly and I like it.
