Great runs last night chaps... The commitment levels were high enough for some of us to skip our dinner ;)

I've got the templar checkpoint and will run atheon a couple of times tonight if anyone fancies joining. Between be and my bro we still need fatebringer, vision of confluence and vex

2 x Found Verdicts, VoC, Timepiece, Black Hammer.

Not a bad score with another Truth and another Monte Carlo. Damn Hawkmoon still eludes me!

Happy to assist any Hard Crota runs too. Still need Fang and Hunger.

Thanks for the runs chaps. Sorry if I was a bit miserable - fucking washing machine playing up had me a bit distracted!

I got an icebreaker and a load of shards/energy from our runs so not the most productive. Jerec definitely stole all the good shit!

I also added the time breaker sparrow which is good to have in the locker I suppose. Can't believe it hadn't dropped for me until now.

I'm "working from home today", so level 35 PoE at 1pm anyone?!

Yeah the raiding was good fun last night. I ended up having an Atheons Epilogue in my vault (I know its crap) so that rounds up the final raid weapon I needed from VoG!

I've got everything from both raids now but happy to help out at 10 if people need an extra body. Ideally I'd like to get a prison of elders run in later too if anyone is up for that.

I need 4 weapons across the two raids. I've done both raids twice this week and seen them all drop multiple times to other players.

I got 2 shards and a fucking ship.

2 Nightfalls also awarded me with instasharded legendary weapons this week too.

I need to get my Titan up to spec so I can get more chances of receiving fuck all.

I just started a Titan last night, ran the first couple of missions so only level 3 so far. Wish they would let you buy a fresh level 20 character for 100 strange coins or something. You forget how shit and under powered you are starting out, emptying a clip to kill a couple of shanks feels weird!

I also have a Warlock I might try and run through the Nightfall today, assuming I can get someone to help (he's only level 32 currently).

Anyone else think that compared to the fire hammer and warlock sith storm powers the hunter's bow is incredibly underwhelming?

Isnt it more that they are trying to offer a balance between all the classes? The Hunter doesnt have a support super yet so makes sense. The Titan has the bubble and the Warlock has self res currently.

It's more of a support class that the Hunter doesn't currently have so it's not as all-out powerful. I think the idea is that you tether the adds whilst your fireteam knock the fuck out of them

Well I'll be on from one anyway so if all three of us are ready earlier we can get to it. Hopefully we'll have a good run and can get it done...although if he messes about like last night then it could be a struggle.

Great raids last night, featuring our best wife cameo yet. :D Sorry I forgot to super the templar's shield. Small mistake really all as far as relic holding goes.

That did make me laugh, we were just all too busy chatting that we forgot to actually play the game and get on with Templar.

And yes, it seems the Wifey does now feel that she has to come in and embarrass me each time I play.

Did my first PoE 35 run tonight. It took us about 2 to 2 1/2 hours to get through the whole thing. Lots and lots of dying.

We went into the Skolas fight completely blind and thoroughly enjoyed figuring out the mechanics. I'm glad that there is no longer any elemental burn because I have no idea how you'd survive Arc Burn in there.

I was so excited when Skolas finally fell that I double fist pumped the air before I even saw that an Elder Cipher had dropped for me... twice! :D

For someone who has been fruitlessly attempting to get Fatebringer since bloody launch I am very very chuffed with that result.
The reward shader looks lovely as well.

I've decided, since HoW launched, to only bother focusing on playing on a single character (my Titan). I don't have the time nor the desire to run Nightfalls, Raids etc three times a week. Once a week is enough.
Roll on next week and roll on Elder Cipher bounty weapons. Which one's are the best? Bow and Shotgun?

***EDIT***
Unfortunately, when choosing your Exotic from Variks it only let me pick one and then applied it to each bounty so I'm thinking I'm going to get two bows...

I have the sniper, working on getting the points for the other 2 (almost there). The magazine size is ridiculous for a sniper on the Queenbreakers Bow, so when there's an arc burn its definitely the better choice of snipers. Not sure why Bungie has a hard on for Arc and Solar though. Poor Void seems to be ignored on exotics.
