I had my first taste of trials, we had just done a level 32 PoE and decided to give it a go - we don't play PvP much and have never played as a 3 so we went in for a laugh really...

We got hammered!!!! Well I say that, once we started to play as a team and set up properly we were miles better but man alive some of the teams are amazing - our score card read 2 wins for 9 losses and one of the wins was a gimme!!

I can however see myself getting more into it tho as it was a total rush, the game we won was brilliant and our tactic went off beautifully so after that we headed into some skirmish to get some practice.

When is Iron Banana? I shall be all over that I feel, still getting nothing from RNG so this week will be PvP week - are there any n00b setups for a warlock or titan you chaps can recommend??

IB starts Tuesday. Think I'm going to give it a bash for the first time. ToO was a sobering experience as we got battered by lvl 34s with 365 Mythoclasts but I think IB could be a laugh plus I've got next Monday off work for an all day 150% buff marathon.

RNG being a shithead for me too this week. Did HM Crota last night trying to get Word of but ended with all three of the primaries I already have. Mind you, takes about 10 minutes now so will give it another go tonight.

More Trials of Osiris fun from yest:

We got to mercury during that session but that was 1 out of 3 for me yesterday.

The other two were 6-3 and 8-1 (dont need to play a 9th if you have a loss on your card at 8)

Definitely a lot harder this week, whether that is the map difficulty or a lot of lower level players didnt come back after last week.

I'd be up for PoE 32 this afternoon as well, so if anyone's doing one give me a shout. I'd love to get that Armor Core, as I think the Warlock chest Variks is selling would get me to 33 (if I wear it and Ahamkara instead of my Vestments).

Will do. Maybe a hard VoG run after? Vision and Myhoclast are still on the shopping list. Been a bit disappointed with all the new weapons and find myself wanting to get all the classics I missed.

Prolly won't be until after 9 but who goes to bed early on a Sunday.. :/

Oh, I would have been raging. Had something like that happen to me when I did it yesterday too. Bloody Sunsingers. You need to be primed and ready for them to rez unless you can guarantee they don't have a super.

Did you even watch the video, its a hunter so he didn't self res, he died, then his revive popped on the guy he was trying too revive before he died, lag switch much. Also ghosts are physics objects Suchuu, don't shoot them ;).

Dave isn't kidding about Crota hard mode now. Aside from being a bit too ambitious, it isn't a problem with 4 as long as you are 33/34. Absolutely pathetic. VoG will still give you trouble because it is well designed. Crota is laughable.

I stopped running Crota hard after the first time as it wasn't fun enough for the rewards. I haven't even attempted PoE 35 yet, but I fear the same for that. Can get etheric light from 34, doesn't seem much point in multiple armour cores, weapons from weapon cores are not great. Add to the massive RNG on the weapons rather than random - but at least I know what I could get - from the other raids and I don't fancy running it multiple times with artificial difficulty for a tiny chance at the only thing I really want - a void scout.

I would still take Word of Crota though. Fuck this RNG.

I did, and it looked like the second to last guy to die was a Warlock. I'm sure there was some element of skullduggery there but if it was a warlock they can time the rez so it looks like you've killed all three.
