I still haven't done the PoE yet, was going to have a quick run tonight but thought I would have a game or two of pop and 3 hours later I had to force myself to stop!!

Thorn is just ridiculous, glad I don't have to play it trying only to get void kills anymore as what I am seeing now I am loving and not just because of thorn..

New social space, The Reef, with loads of new vendors

5 new story missions

1 new strike

New endgame 3 player PVE mode, Prison of Elders, which is basically horde/arena mode

New elimination style PVP mode

You can ‘ascend’ ALL your legendary and exotic gear (armour and guns) to max level cap using new ‘etheric light’ currency, so no grinding raids and everyone looking the same.

Loads and loads of new gear

That’s about all you need to know to get cracking

I don't really understand it either.
If you press R2 you fire but if you keep holding it down it charges up another shot?

28 and 32 PoE done, the latter being pretty damn touch and go in some spots, and with a bastard of a Cabal boss at the end it the rewards were well earned, even if they were a bit cack.

I got this from the 32 Ark of the Covenant chest:

Any top tips for the last guy on level 32 PoE please?

Take his shield down, empty Gjallarhorns on him, run away, pop heavy synth, repeat! Probably better ways to do it, but where's the challenge in that?

Opposite corners have some cover you can use.

He used a key to open the big one, and got a new key either from it or one of the small ones (not sure which). No-one else had a key drop.

I'm pretty sure I got it from one of the small chests. So if you go in without a key, there's still a chance you can open the big chest at the end of it.

You'd have to wait for someone else to confirm that, though. I did open all three chests pretty quickly.

I did a run through PoE last night, easiest level. Wasn't any real challenge and I got The Four Horsemen and a new rocket launcher from the big chest. I've still got one key left so will blast through it again today hoping for an icebreaker.

If you actually play PoE above level 32 the game rewards handsomely. It's incredibly easy and quick to get to level 34 providing you complete it. It's literally one click of a button for each half level.

Anyway heres Donuts contribution to level 35 PoE :)

I've been away for ages. Since the last DLC dropped and left me completely disappointed. All of the guys I used to play with no longer play. I see this game still owns Donut's soul so I'm sure I'll have people to play with if I comeback. Could someone kindly make me a little list of what's what now? Like, what's new? I'm seeing a lot of crying about PvP being kind of important now, and I really hope that's true because I love it and didn't like that I was essentially forced to play so much more PvE content last time round. Also, I deleted all of my character's bar one because I don't want to get cracked out on this again and end up playing all of the weekly content 3 times each week.

I'm on the fence.

They've removed the vast majority of the tedious PvE grind. The game throws currency at you now. PvP is more generous now too - more marks awarded for winning / losing PvP, post match rewards are more generous. Legendary engrams now turn into weapons / armour, not shards or energy. Going on Patrol is fun again too.

The big chest had the Ship, Shader and Emblem (which is in my Postmaster)

It might be a daft question, but... does Xûr even sell the new HoW exotics? I just bought six helmet engrams, hoping for Celestial Nighthawk or The Ram. Results:

  1. Apotheosis Veil
  2. The Glasshouse
  3. Skull of Dire Ahamkara
  4. Knucklehead Radar
  5. Knucklehead Radar
  6. Apotheosis Veil
As you might have guessed, I already have all of those. 138 motes of light well spent there.

The Ram seems to have a fairly high drop rate from exotic engrams going by posts on Reddit and Bungie.net.

Got motes for 6 ready to go tonight, the Hunter helmet looks interesting too.

Just not when Gorf is playing.
