If the hard raid team that was at Atheon needs a player tonight I can be available from 5:30 - 9pm, also my warlock will be level 29 instead of 28. ( I can use my level 30 titan if preferred/needed but obviously would love to get more gear with my Warlock )

Don't give up on that checkpoint, it resets tomorrow !

if theres a hard raid with a slot open for tonight, send me an inv please!

I'm not finding the Sunslinger sub class on my Warlock that useful in PvE, should I switch to voidwalker instead?

The Sunslinger super just makes me glow which I assume reduces the damage I take but coming from the Titan with it's Hulk Smash I don't find this super as useful. The grenades also don't seem to do much damage compared to my Titan.

On Ascendent Energy is it worth buying legendary weapons to dismantle for energy?

Annoyingly the cheapest is 150 marks but I have 170 marks on my Titan & nothing I want or need to buy.

Can I use it to buy weapons for my warlock character when that has reached level 20?

I need another 2 to upgrade the last stage of my exotic Suros Assault Rifle then another 18 for the Epitaph sniper rifle. I'll need another 18 for when Xur has the Icebreaker again. Friggin Energy, wish bungie made it so you collect the ascendant materials & then refine it into shards or energy back at the tower.

I've got a hoard now of 511 Plasteel Plating which I have no idea what to do with, I take it they can't be used for other classes?

Bungie has outlined some of the changes coming to Destiny, including map adjustments, ways to make the games planets a bit more lively and further customisation options.

The news comes from Bungies Weekly Update, in which community manager DeeJ said, Were inbound with several bundles of joy in our hold. Theyll land in the weeks to come. Some of them will give everyone new things to do and earn. Some of them will prepare the world youve conquered for some new arrivals, and push the boundaries. Your level of engagement will be up to you. Each of us finds our own level in Destiny.

Heres what the studio is promising, some things weve kept secret, until now:

New shaders for your gear

Ways to preview items before you spend your Glimmer

Greater chances of showers in public spaces

Adjustments to some arenas that needed better traffic flow

New economies to equip you with upgrade materials

Fixes, patches, and other invisible technical evolutions

Some other tricks up our sleeve

Maybe even a more generous Cryptarch

(hell still be sort of a bastard)

Those are the broad strokes, added DeeJ. More detail is on the way. There will be Dev Notes and Patch Notes and love notes on our forum to explain what we mean, why were doing this, how it will all go down, and why we think its awesome. For now, we just wanted to let you know weve been thinking about you, and working on some game changers we hope youll enjoy.

In addition to all this, Destinys head of world art, Sam Jones, has shared an art gallery that shows off some of the environments coming to The Dark Below expansion next month. You can see the images below, along with Jones descriptions.

Sunsinger is annoying in pvp, as I usually kill a Warlock and run on only to find the bastard has ressed and shooting/hitting me in the back!

But there's not much more satisfying than killing a warlock twice after he rage-revived! Using the striker or voidwalker super to shut down a hunter as soon as they activate blade dance is up there too.

The best things about sunsinger are the self-revive ability, two grenades, and my personal favourite, Angel of Light. Sadly you can't have Angel of Light and the two grenades, it's one or the other. But angel of light comes in really handy for raining bullets down on enemies, or popping up from cover to fire off a sniper shot or two.

The revive ability was what appeals to me which I why I went with sunslinger sunsinger subclass but It's quite a while before I can unlock that ability. I think I will switch to voidwalker & give that a try for a while. Would like to try out Novabomb.

Yep I had that happen to me once I and I promptly shouted "Stay Down"

Anyone around for a Normal level raid tonight from about 8pm? I think I have a checkpoint at Atheon if anyone needs some quick loot Chatterwhite.

Yes please Gerry, I haven't had a chance to play with no wifi so I'll use my mobile 4G to get some quick loot :) see you at 8.

Weds run one 7:30pm on

I've not completed a raid yet got to the last stage of Atheon fight last time before I had to call it quits, friggin hate !! the jumping section so I apologise in advance.

Added to the list, no worries, I hate using the hunters jump and am usually crap at the jumping puzzle on a Thursday.

Nope, each class has there own pishy material that is almost wasted space after level 26. I've got 1500 sapphire wire for my Hunter and thankfully it hasn't split over two storage spaces yet.

I am currently levelling up alts now. Main is a Titan, got a Hunter now to 20+ and Warlock is now 10. I will be honest, not tried Voidwalker as having too much fun Sunsinging. One of the best grenades in the game (when you have adjusted to massive throw distance), super that means melee/grenades get super reduced cool down plus extra orbs, and a superior Defender Force Barrier in Flame Shield (only have to hit enemies to proc it, not kill them).

Damn, I mean with the revive ability you have ultimate survivability for raids and nightfall. Sure, you could argue voidwalker better for trash stuff and PvP. You could say same thing for Titan Striker vs Defender. All I know is I love punching people on fire.

Quention about the raids.

If you complete one succesfully can you do it again and get drops from the Boss fights only? I have read a few places that suggest you can. Although I'm not sure if it's only when you don't get Armour/Weapons that you can do it again.

Once you're done with normal mode no more drops will come till the next week however if you move onto hard mode after normal completion that is where you will get more loot drops at the specific checkpoints and boss encounters.

Hard mode also has some different drops only available on hard (none are guarantee'd to drop right enough but you may get lucky).

I always fail first on trying to make it to the ledge, then I fail at trying to get round the bit you need to jump out & back in.

Phew I was worried at 999 it would start taking up a second slot. Shame you can't exchange them for marks or even sell them for glimmer.

I must admit the melee with the warlock is very cool & when you activate it's super I do like the 'super-saiyan' look.

Will start off a third hunter character this week to try, I've got quite a bit of armour in the vault now waiting.

Might need help at the Atheon checkpoint tonight as well, if you're about and fancy the practice!

I should be about also till about 9pm if needed (would love to finish it with my warlock).
