Don't see the point in using a rocket launcher against an oracle, seems a complete waste unless the blast radius can take out all 7 in the relic phase...

You're better off using them against groups of Supplicants in the main room, especially on hard. Well placed rockets can take out groups in one shot.

Another thumbs up for the xbox one raid team last night! I had some problems hearing people and some of the communication was a bit disjointend at my end, but we did pretty well I think. Even the comedic run through the maze had its moments... Shall we resume tomorrow?

So after the raid consumed 3 full evenings last week, much to my girlfriend's chagrin, I said that I'd maybe give the Vault of Glass a rest this week. However reading everyone's success stories and all that delicious loot has made me want to jump right back in again. I've got the itch!

Yeah, I lost everyone apart from someone who seemed to be eating a bag of crisps while whittling some new furtniture on party chat last night for the duration of the templar which made it more difficult than it should have been...

I don't know how we didn't figure it out but with the 2 person teleport glitch at Atheon, all you need to do is get the relic holder and the second person to run straight out the portal, you don't get times vengeance for that run but you can try again for a 3 man teleport.

Also are we attempting again this week on hard?

Hearing the loot-related tales of woe in here and looking at the table of raid drops linked above, I'm starting to understand how outrageously lucky I've been in the last few days. I got an exotic helm from Xur at the weekend, then gloves, chest and boots in my first ever raid last night. Sounds like it's the dream set-up and the fast (!) track to level 30.

I suck at weapons though, really.

I've done about 3-4 raids and am level 30, even though am using the wrong helm (Striker, when the raid requires you to be Defender really). I guess I've been reasonably lucky, as its been quite decent to me with weapons too, with the scout rifle, shotgun and the auto rifle dropping for me. Not to mention I now have a Glass Minuet for my Hunter as well as my Titan. No Sparrow yet though.

I got Corrective Measure from the normal raid last week. It's the raid heavy machine gun with the Oracle perk. With my raid boots giving me more heavy ammo, and the gun's Field Scout perk, I have max ammo of 300 bullets, with 100 per magazine.

I AM AN ORACLE DESTROYER!

I think that's the only other gun I want from the raid now, as I mainly use machine guns anyway. That on Atheon with that amount of bullets would mean less reloading per Times Vengeance.

Wish they'd fix the sound issue in the raid. It seems to be the bit before the actual Templar fight that does it, with the enemies that create the green pools. Once Atheon died at the end of the raid all I could hear was the background noise and music. I had to close down Destiny and reload it, as sound was borked doing anything else after the raid.

But I will admit, I would like to finish that cunt on hard with you guys, seeing as we went through so much the past two weekends. I've nearly done everything I need to do this week except for the Weekly Heroic. If anyone still needs someone to join them for that or nearly anything except the raid in exchange for doing the Weekly Heroic together this evening, I'm up for hire.* PS4 players apply within.

Currently using a level 29 Hunter but without the Ice Breaker that everyone liked to use for the weeklies. So it may take a little longer than the them.

* this may imply I'm some kind of crack mercenary games player that sweeps all challenges aside with ease. I'm not, I'm merely competent to complete them with other players. Just so we get that out there. No cash charged. No guarantee of success.

We were all feeling the frusrtation tbh. You really should look into getting that gjallahorn leveled, so handy for the hard raid.

Cheers for the fast run through. Got the raid sniper, and another Vision of Confluence, plus some shards/energy. I amazingly made the jumping section on my first try on my Hunter (triple jump). Was dreading it seeing the hassle Gorf King had the other night.

I don't think so, I was impressed how well he did considering he didn't have a headset on. I got my usual quota of shards/energy, which I actually needed to upgrade my Gjallarhorn/Atheon's Epilogue.
