Well I said I was going to play Destiny a lot while the other half was away and my 3am finish has started me well!


Good night for me, great fun with Wavy doing the Nightfall (8 shards thank you very much) to assist with the related exotic bounty and then patrol round the Cosmodrome to get some spinmetal. I farmed so much of it in the end that it wouldn’t give me any more. I couldn’t pick up and open any of the chests or metal itself.


I then went and took lots of crucible bounties on whilst completing the 10k exotic crucible bounty and finally got my prize of…Bad Juju. It immediately gave me another three exotic choices so Thorn is next on the list. I have to say I really don’t enjoy PvP much as it just seems to be so many one shot kills be it fusion, shotgun etc, just not for me I think but I’ll grind it for Crucible lvl 2 so have access to the stuff.


Then finally cashed in and upgraded lots of my weapons, swarm heavy which is very satisfying to shoot, ice breaker for more damage and the same with a few others on Atheon’s rifle (surprised a few in PvP with that who ha d the Suros I think!).


Now, on to the nightfall and raid this evening… :)

It's all good! I felt proper cheeky jumping in at the last minute, my one paltry kill displayed for all to see in the post-match report! Managed one revive though :)

My first exotic gun too, heard the name mentioned around here a bit so I'm hoping it's a good'un!

It is pretty much the best sniper in the game IMO, and LOL that was my second playthrough, I already killed myself with a rocket launcher at the boss first time around !

Just had a lovely session over lunch: logged in to do the Daily Heroic quickly, and saw two randoms also doing it, at the same stage as me. Two invites later, and the three of us bezzed off and ran through it in super quick time. Then we all waved, and went our separate ways. Then a grabbed a public event for the day on Earth.

Ready for the weeklies tonight, if anyone's around. I have opportunity at 5 for maybe an hour, then again at like 10ish.

I'd give the weekly a go at 5 if we can get three together. Or maybe at 10 if that doesn't work out. (Yeah, busy night.)

Wonder if we can get 6 together for the raid who haven't done it before? I'd quite like to have a first go with people equally clueless. Tomorrow maybe?

Used to love the seasonal updates in PSO so i'm gonna be fucking psyched in they put a glorious Christmas tree in the tower for the festive season.

This is so annoying as I travel back to my family at Xmas so have zero consoles or gaming time. Then again, Vita remote play could be just the solution I need.

Yeah I'm up for raiding tonight! We used the technique of staying up in the entrance 'balcony' with one on guard with a void weapon for the Minotaurs... felt it was the best way with the risk of going back to orbit on the nightfall :)

His face was a wee picture as he thought he had wiped again... Then there were the tears when he got the same bit of armour again, thats wee bazs found verdict.

Would really like to sort the Nightfall first as well so will try and get on a bit earlier if at all possible.

Shame, it's a bit wasted on me.

Regenerates ammo and has the highest impact of any sniper, give it a try, what do you usually use?

The raid is the only place to get elemental damage on primaries, Atheons epilogue is a beast for the nightfall this week.

Use it for a while and say that again, it's a life saver at times. It is bloody lovely and oh that noise it makes. :)

Cheers to Dalvado and Banjaxed for hopping on this avvy and getting the Weekly Heroic and Nightfall done. They were a piece of piss this week, especially compared to the Hellmouth last time! I got that fancy exotic Titan helmet with the flashing lights on the face from the Nightfall. Super handy because I'm hoping to pick up the raid chest, so an exotic helmet is my route to 30 once I've got it.

Excellent! While I completely gave up on it being any good, I did for some reason carry on levelling it. XP from the bounties I do every day might as well go somewhere I guess.

I genuinely think it is an ok gun to use and love that it deals void damage for minotaurs.
