Sorry if this got answered somewhere else - you only get the rewards from upgrading faction rep from level three onwards. If you're already level 3, I'm afraid you just got jipped!

It was vanguard rank level up to 4 but I got no reward? Not that I care but if you get no rewards for ranking up then it seems pointless to do the bounties.

I only have primaries up to 242, and a Void Fusion Rifle at 242, so maybe a bit lacking. I do have an Exotic Sniper Rifle but unfortunately it's Solar damage.

Come to think of it, I really haven't had much luck getting Legendary weapons, really need to get that sorted.

We will be on the same page then Mystacon, most of my weapons are a similar level. Only legendary I got was Doctor Nope via levelling up my Vanguard Rep.

Managed to do 25 strikes over the weekend for my Vanguard Exotic bounty mission, only to be given a token to hand to Xur for the exotic primary reward... all about 30 mins after Xur had left!

EDIT: Yep, all good, I'm in! Any tips for someone that hasn't done the Raid before? Types of weapon etc...

Fancy a sub 2hr run on Tuesday at 1030pm? Same team as Sat night.

Boxotsis, I'm sure if one of the 6 from sat can't make it would you like first dibs? We should be done by 1 at the latest, if all goes well.

Totally up for this as luckily enough the missus buggered off to SF for the week this morning so it's Destiny all the way for me! ;) 4hr time difference only this week as well should make this possible for me. So 10.30pm GMT / 6.30pm EST Tues eve good for all? Quite fancy doing the nightfall beforehand as well to maximise everything.

Don't forget the bounties are giving you massive xp boosts to levelling up weapons/armour too though.

All of my main weapons/armour are maxed out I just need enough materials & shards/energy to upgrade.

You get a reward when levelling up the crypto guy so I'd exoected a reward for the vanguard also when you level up.

I think I'm nearing the point where I might be able to scrape by on a raid, never done one before.

Reached level 26 and obtained my first exotic armour piece from Xur over the weekend, would I be any use yet?

My GT is Kryptonian and my wife & kids are away Mon-Fri so any evening would be ok for me I guess :)

If you still fancy a 360 raid that would be good. Depends if we can get 4 others though!

My gamertag is the same as my username here. I'm pretty busy next week though. Not Wednesday or Thursday and probably not Friday or Tuesday. Could probably do tomorrow or next weekend.

I can't do the weekend which is a shame. :( But never mind, maybe it could be next week?

As far as 360 stuff goes, I could get involved but my character isn't ready yet, I need to level up the vanguard to 3 to get a ledge weapon.
