Okay! This is it then. I would officially like to recruit you both - what's your GT? Free any nights next week?

Funnily enough after my whiney post I managed to crawl into a group from DestinyLFG, but I don't imagine it's the same as doing it with forumites. I got a butt-ton of ascendant energies and a shader, but I've never been so happy to receive a shader as loot!

My gamertag is the same as my username here. I'm pretty busy next week though. Not Wednesday or Thursday and probably not Friday or Tuesday. Could probably do tomorrow or next weekend.

I hope they fix the buggier aspects of the raid! We should be able to get it done in under 2 hours

Fancy a sub 2hr run on Tuesday at 1030pm? Same team as Sat night.

Boxotsis, I'm sure if one of the 6 from sat can't make it would you like first dibs? We should be done by 1 at the latest, if all goes well.

Does anyone know if there is much (any?) difference in the AI between last-gen and current-gen consoles?

The reason I ask is that I've played 14 levels with a Warlock on PS3 and have just continued that game on PS4, and I'm convinced that the AI seems more "dynamic" or "interesting". I don't want to say it's harder on PS4, but the AI seems to be doing some things that I don't recall on PS3. Dregs and Vandals seem to duck in and out of cover more often, and move around the environment. They just seem a bit more "spritely" than I recall on PS3.

Of course, I could be imagining it.

As far as 360 stuff goes, I could get involved but my character isn't ready yet, I need to level up the vanguard to 3 to get a ledge weapon.

If someone wants to help me through the weekly tonight, that should get me most of the way there, otherwise I'll be grinding patrols for a few more days.

Thanks, appreciate that. But it also reinforces my point - the real endgame on this isnt very inclusive if you have constrained playing time, or have to get up for work in the morning. Adding matchmaking would help a lot.

Anyway, having said I'm done, I do *only* need three shards to get to 28. Maybe I'll just do that in the meantime....

I totally agree with you on the time constraints, I just wish the raid reset was longer but I do feel that once I've upgraded all my weapons & armour I'll hit lvl 29 which should make the raid much easier & quicker to complete.

Not to come across all Oliver Twist, but I was wondering if I could get some help?

I've run the raid a couple of times now, once leading an entire group of raid virgins. We did well and got to the end but, I've yet to kill the last boss.

I was wondering if there was any space this week on the "big boy" raids for a level 28 hunter? I know some teams have it on a two hour clear. If possible like to experience that and take any hints or tips for further raiding.

I'm available for another run. At some point an attempt on Hard will be needed, but I'm not sure I'm there yet.

Yeah I'm up for that. Will send the usual group a message today and get them to confirm they can make it.

Out of interest, is Hard mode on a separate timer?

If we do as we did last week, and clear normal in one night it might be fun to get people together another time and see how we get on with hard mode. Not sure if we are geared, or how hard "Hard" is, but I'd like to try.

I'm happy to help out and take a slot on any raid runs this week. Didn't do too bad on my first attempt and understand the mechanics now.

L28 Warlock and have a lovely void damage auto rifle that will help out no doubt. So feel free to keep me in mind.

After looking at the Destiny app on Saturday and seeing that Dead Orbit have a nice Void-damage machine gun with stability upgrades which would be perfect for the Raid, I decided to spend all my free time grinding out 80 Crucible Marks so I could afford it. At 11:30pm on Sunday I finally hit the magic 150 number, dashed to the emo on the Dead Orbit stand, only to find that it's actually an Arc-damage gun with totally different perks. The app was wrong (and is wrong about most guns from the vendors). Fucking dicks!
