Yep, all good. Just need to get over this murderous hangover first, why do we do it to ourselves?!?!

Think we are already friends as I have got you but just in case I'm lenhug.

A finer set of raid guardians has rarely been seen...or something. ;)

Just managed to get enough shards to fully upgrade my Vision Of Confluence raid scout rifle. Perfect timing.

Yeah, the rewards for Hard and Normal (apart from the chests) are separate, so I got shards for defeating the oracles, and I'm hoping for some armour once we actually defeat the templar.

The left chest in the Gorgons also pays out on both normal and hard, the only one that does.

The saturday afternoon hard mode team had a hell of a time with the templar, we're at the very final part but had to call it a day for the moment. Bloody hell it's tough!! I can see it being easier with a full team of level 30s, so I'm definitely going to be hitting the raid on normal every week to try and get some other raid armour (I don't need the helmet as I have an exotic).

Need a break now though!! Four hours solid of that templar room really takes it out of you!!

Yeah it's definitely tougher than i thought but once we figured out a strategy we definitely kept getting better.

Didn't help that by the time I got out of the shields the Templar had about 2 seconds left to teleport! I'm gonna use the shards I earnt to get to 29 tonight though :)

I found that using my sniper i would do about 700 damage even when in the shield so was worth keeping shooting at him from inside it, then when the shield popped after 3 shots my remaining 3 done about 1750ish.

When I use my ward of dawn shield with weapon buff my damage went up to 2150ish so next time i will bust out the shield and get everyone to pass through for the extra damage!

Yeah, we almost had him too! Bazra - you can leave that little perch by the boss oracles when the relic holder announces he's about to take the shield out. Then quickly run back after you've dealt your damage. Just be wary of Harpies.

We can ignore the oracles during the Templar bit too, as long as the Relic holder is nearby to cleanse. Need to find a suitable hiding spot for that, though. Might be worth a shot at the next attempt.

I will do that again next time should I have to come down from the safety of the initial spawn point haha!

Only thing is with ignoring the oracles is we can't use our current strategy as we would be too far away to get cleansed.

Good effort though lads and monday night is definitely good for everyone I assume? Does 7pm suit everyone?

Only loot I got was was the same gloves I've had 3 times now! If it'd given me different armor every drop i'd be 30 by now. :hmm:

Iron Banner certainly looks much more interesting when it returns. The way my luck is when Raiding it may be my best bet for getting level 30 Armour!!

Fantastic changes. Hopefully this should deter people dropping out if losing too. Bit iffy on them thinking of resetting reputation though, and I'll have to go from 3 to 5 next event in one week. Hopefully the new weapons and armour are good.

Doubt I'll reroll my Timur's Lash, as its really nicely balanced with Field Scout and the 2 perks its got, but its nice they're adding it. Shame there isn't an option like that for all guns really.

I found some interesting info about the Relic in the Vault of Glass raid btw. Everyone should check this out.

higher Discipline affects and lessens your cool down to cleanse with the Relic. More Discipline = Faster Cool down.

higher Intellect will reduce your super cool down while holding the Relic. High Intellect = Faster super cool down.

Basically the person with the highest in both these stats should probably be using the Relic. However when the patch comes out that makes Atheon randomly teleport 3 people, then you wont be able to use that to your advantage, unless everyone is kitted in raid gear with lots of Intellect and Discipline I suppose.

Yeah i've had duplicate gauntlets in the normal raid too :(

Lets hope we can get what we need on monday. I really want fatebringer and the vex mythoclast too.

Hi - this is a long thread (and yes I have read the first post).

i love the combat in this game (only just started a level 4!) but don't get the online bit atall. (I'm not really an online gamer)

what's confusing me is randoms will pop up in my game then dissappear and never really help work toward the objective set (i bet this game kicks arse if thats what you are all doing).

are their any earlier learners in this thread that would be up for playing through the early game with me? could really do with some friends at the same level on this game.. as its pretty hard on my own.

Great stuff from the team, thanks all for joining in, was excellent fun. Looking forward to many more trips through it now. I got Atheon's auto rifle, some swanky boots and the chatterwhite. I particularly liked the way I jumped, slipped off the platform and died as everyone else applied the coup de grace to Atheon, really classy. ;)

Then went to buy the Suros and found out I'm 3 strange bloody coins short, for some reason I thought it was 17 and I only have 20! I'm never going to get them in time am I but I'll try.

Pick up anything good?

Don't know if they are good but I got an legendary scout rifle with solar damage and a exotic pulse rifle (Red death?) I can't remember names I maybe wrong.

Also a ton of ascendants.

Shame I didn't get any raid gear, hopefully next week.

len save your coins if you have Atheons. I'm saving mine because my shadow price does a fine job plus I have 2 exotic primaries now.

I really need a legendary special/heavy.

Does anyone recommend the vanguard swarmachine gun or rocket launcher?
