Last night I discovered the awesomeness of the 'spawn with grenade energy' perk and the sungsinger extra grenade perk combo, it makes dying in a PvP a lot more fun as you come back ready to throw two of your favourite grenade type (fusion, obviously).

I finished 'kill 20 guardians with grenades' bounty in two games :lol:

Baz will the hard run take substantially longer than the normal we did on Wednesday? I have to travel to the wife's family (taking the PS4!) and leave London probably around 2.30pm on the Saturday so don't want to leave you guys in it at the end. I can definitely help for a couple of hours so maybe put me on the subs bench? :)

Mmmm, just finished upgrading Red Death and Shadow Price, doubt Suros Regime is for me.

The Voidfang Vestements is tempting, but I'd have to find a new helm AND switch to voidwalker. That might come in handy for raiding in terms of pure firepower, but my usual default, sunsinger has saved my backside in more than one occasison.

There again, the law of averages dictate that I buy it, which means I'll get some raid armour the next time I do one :P

I have 20 coins. Suros is the good auto rifle? Who wants to do the weekly heroic with me at the 6 coin level (I've already done it once at the 3 coin level) at lunch time?

I should be able to give it a go if you're stuck for a third.

If we managed it I'd still be 2 coins short of the Suros. I wanted the Alpha Lupi chest piece but I've kind of invested into the Lucky Raspberry now. Hmm.

Because you can only equip any one exotic weapon, I wanted that to be the primary because I will use it the most.

Got the chest armour last week & I've got 30 coins to spend so Assault Rifle it is.

Will look at starting another character over the weekend, Warlock because I have an exotic armour in the vault.

Thats the other problem, if I can only have one exotic I'd prefer a raid weapon that does elemental damage as a primary.

WHen coupled with a fully levelled Shadow Price I can't justify the coins on a Suros. I can wait another week :-)

By then the raid will have given me a lovely weapon, won't you raid!

I'm happy with my heavy weapon The Swarm for the Raid.

Yes it does. Upto 30 light I believe. That hunter chestpiece looks great for raids and strikes, and I could keep my knucklehead radar for the cruicible. Plus it does just look good full stop!

Yeah mate, I can see it being very difficult and time consuming. Probably the best part of 3-4hrs (I think)

Suros is lovely but I can't justify the coin cost and time and mats to upgrade it as I have a fully levelled shadow price.

Looks like another week of no toys from xur. Come on mate a shadow damage machine gun or rocket launcher. Is it to much to ask for :-)

I have a fully levelled Shadow Price as well. I love it. But whenever I go up against someone with a Suros in the Crucible I get my aim thrown all over the place because of that gun's stagger power. The 'Regime really is a must for PvP. SP just can't compete.

I also have an Ice Breaker exotic sniper which is game-changing in PvE, so I'm going to keep my Shadow Price as my PvE primary and rock the Suros in PvP alongside the Dead Orbit Hide and Seek-42 shotty.

Or... maybe I won't for PvE. Perhaps the Suros will be SO good that I'll keep it for raids and strikes and defer back to my Supremacy sniper instead.

Except when I'm fighting Cabal, where the solar damage on the Icebreaker comes into its own. Or when I'm cheesing a boss and the replenishing ammo is worth its weight in gold.

Either way, options are good. And the Suros is the best one out there.

You know the Templar fight? When the Templar traps (seemingly at random) players in a cage? What if the relic holder puts up the shield bubble right after taking the Templar's shield down, and everyone piles into the bubble? Would that stop the cages?

Would take too long for everyone on the map to get back to the relic holder & then run back out to take care of any oracles.

I think if the Templar is looking at you, you will get trapped.

I don't see the appeal of a Hunter chest piece for quicker revives. Hunters can go invis and revive at their leisure.

Only if they're a Bladedancer. I use Gunslinger myself and can definitely see the advantage of faster revs in Skirmish, for example.

Fair point about Skirmish. I haven't played much of that either.

I use Gunslinger too, but often switch to Bladedancer for reviving purposes in strikes.

Does that chest shorten the 30 wait timer for revives in the raid? That would be cool.
