So this is freaking awesome. Hit Level 4, bounties unlocked, can start to purchase weapons etc. Got a sweet handcannon which blows the enemy away. Got a shotgun as back-up.

Whole thing looks gorgeous, can see the next gen boost etc. Am double jumping too as well, so the areas are opening up. Cracking game and one I can see me sinking hours into.

Also got my first non-white loot, a chest plate.

Yep, I've had a few legendary guns, including Doctor Nope twice! Sometimes you only get some shards or energy, but I'm ranking up again later, so should hopefully get another weapon. Watch me get Shadow Price, when I no longer really want it.

I'm up for the Saturday afternoon hard raid. Marmite, you free tomorrow evening to start on Normal?

Should be free from about 10pm if that works? Possibly free from about 6pm - 8pm too.

1. I believe you get gifts from the Vanguard for levelling them, like you do with the Cryptarch. Not sure.

2. Sure, if you want. Be aware that you'll need Crucible marks to buy stuff off the factions, and although your rep gets combined, your Marks don't. You'll keep your rep levels with Crucible and Vanguard.

3. Weapons do not contribute to levelling, that is all in the armour.

4. A bit of both, I guess.

Also is there a limit to the amount of Vanguard marks you can hold (not earn per week which I understand is a 100)? I currently have 200 burning a hole in my pocket.

Yeah I wandered off the beaten path and encountered a '???' enemy. I got off two shots from my pulse rifle, it seemed to lol its head off, and one shotted me :D

Part of the joy of Destiny for me is that I'm now comfortably into the mid-20s level wise, so I went back to Earth as a Bladedancer, went to the Grottos, and went through the caves of enemies like a fucking Magimix. Previously that place was instead, violent death.

That'll be too early. 10pm should be okay think. Late for some, but Dave, Jerec, and Bloodwraith should be around. That's five already, and Bloodwraith has another guy who wants to have a go.

Could probably get cracking tonight if you guys fancy it?
