We finished up with doing some Crucible Salvage games for the bounty and just dominated the whole time. Communication and teamwork just blew away the opposition, who always seemed to be one man down because we were just rinsing them the whole time.

Muk should do crucible games more often, the amount of times I lose matches because my team is full of really bad players (I'm talking 3 kills 15 deaths kind of stuff, and not bothering to capture anything) is just insane.

Thats a good call Ben. Would consider myself a below average Crucible player, but playing as a team last night made Salvage a walk in the park! Definitely up for more Crucible with people from the site. Esp good for anyone like me wanting to get to Rank 3 to be able to get their hands on Lord High Fixer. :)

They released that imagine with all the upcoming events when the game released. Well, the last one on that list finished a while ago and while they were pretty pants I'd still like to know what's coming up so hope they release another one and it's not just a case of wait until December for the DLC. Also hope it's not just Queen's Wrath II: Even More Worthless Boogaloo and Iron banner with the vendor having some different items.

Yeah there is a set for each class and that is a part of the warlock's set. They have as much light as exotics and because you can equip more than one piece it is the only current way to reach level 30. A way to tell if it's 'raid gear' is if it has specific perks that help in the vault of glass. More damage against oracles for example.

I think we (U-1, Finitelight and me) will be doing the Raid this week - our first attempt, very little knowledge of what it entails. We're all level 27 - two Warlocks and a Hunter. We're usually on around 9:30 - 11pm. PS4.

So, we need three more people to make up a party.

Me and two mates can do exactly those times this whole week so can party up tomorrow? My psn is: thekunjer

I'm a 28 titan, and they are both 27 hunters with decent weapons

I'll be up for this. I'm also yet to attempt the raid. Not sure if that's a good or bad thing for your needs.

Am level 27 titan.

Am level 27.

If it's towards the end of the week pencil me in - I should have levelled up my gear by then. I'd like to do the raid with people who haven't tried it yet.

Sounds good. We've tried to avoid spoilers so we can figure it out by ourselves so first timers would be best.

I understand Void weapons are best, but all my best stuff is Solar.

We'll probably start tomorrow.

I must have completed the raid at least 5 times in full and some sections more than that. I still don't know what the 'rules' (if there are any) for which players get detained during the templar section. Does anyone know? Or is it completely random?

I thought it was anyone in his line of sight when you break the shield, so if you pop out and prep too early, you'll get trapped.

I'm lvl27 Hunter - would like a better primary weapon before raiding (or am I just putting this thing off now?) - any Raid Vets tell me if I'm going to make a dent if I go in with this gear?

Auto Rifle - 230

Broken Truth Sniper Rifle -277 VOID

Hannibal Machine Gun - 242 VOID

Also whats the best way to get Ascendant Energy, I need to level up my Sniper but have only got it randomly from Public Events so far?

Void will do excellently. If your defense is 1100+ you are ready to raid. Also, have a look at your talents. Some talents shine in a raid environment; in case of the Warlock the self-res can be very helpful as it reduces the downtime of you and your team members.

That's roughly where I am, and I'm going in!

Daily Heroics on Level 28 for Ascendent Energy, though it's a lottery whether you get shards or energy.

Dailies and weeklys at level 26+ give ascendant energy I think. And as you mention try do a public event whenever you're on.

28 more crucible points needed for my legendary dead orbit scout rifle :'(

I reckon we made a mistake donning the faction garb as soon as we could. On the plus side, I was able to purchase some legendary boots to complete my armour set fairly quickly, on the downside that blew a huge chunk of my Crucible marks, so I now need to do another 30-40 rounds before I can afford a gun. Wish I'd stuck with Vanguard! But the time I rep up with the Vanguard vendors I'll be able to afford two guns, but that feels a long way off.
