Anyone up for a first timers PS4 raid starting next Tuesday? So far we have:

1. Soi

2. Soo Denim

3.

4.

5.

6.

What sort of time? I would really like to attempt this but best time for me is around 9 to 11pm, can't really go past 11 Mon to Thu. Before 9 is difficult (got to get kids to bed etc). Also Wednesday evening would be out because of Apprentice.

I think I need to join a Raid Attempt only for Dads.

Sorry too many if's & buts with me Mon to Thu, I can do a later Friday session though. If you can put up with all that, I'd love to tag along.

Lvl 27 Titan with no exotic's yet but hopefully after tomorrow I'll have a weapon & armour.

13 for armour, and it should be noted that Xur has in the past sold weapons for 23 coins. Ice Breaker was considered a bargain at 'just' 17.

Fingers cross he is generous tomorrow on the amount of strange coins needed for the weapons.

I was tempted with ice breaker but I really want my main weapon assault rifle to be my first exotic I purchase.

Hopefully when the ice breaker appears again I'll have enough coins to purchase.

I take it you can have more than one exotic weapon but only one equipped at any one time?

So who is up for the raid tonight on PS4 from about 7pm? I've got 3 ready to go, just need 3 more. We have completed before but looking to get more raid gear.

I need two more coins to hit thirteen and hopefully scoop some warlock armour. Best way?

Weekly Strike if you have not already done it (hardest setting will net you 9 coins, can be done solo but you need a lot of patience & have to use the safe spots, see posts a few pages back).

Otherwise I've been lucky with Vanguard Strikes on the hardest setting Tiger I think it's called or PvP if you enjoy that?

I've done the weekly strike already & got the 9 coins. Some more Vanguard Strikes in the hope I get one more coin.

Actually I think I am ok, armour pieces are usually 13 coins & weapons 17 coins, so you only need 30 coins to get both.

I could be remembering wrong, but wasn't the Suros Regime on for 23 coins? Probably the best gun in the game, so you can understand the extra cost...

Also, the first Public Event of the day you do has a reasonable chance of gifting a coin. And the Daily Heroic.

If you've done the Weekly then Public Events, chest runs and Strikes. Completely random though so it's not like you can set out to be purposeful about it. Good luck!

Yep it was 23 coins last time, if he has it then I'll grind the vanguard strikes till I get a coin.

Yep that's right.

I've got the Icebreaker in the Exotic in my PvE 'loadout' (seriously, this game really needs a loadouts selection menu between spawns) alongside a maxed-out Shadow Price.

Really hoping Xur has the Suros Regime again this weekend so I can have that and the HideandSeek42 shotgun from Dead Orbit as my PvP setup. Beastly, that'd be!

Oh, and for anyone who is also waiting for the Suros Regime - the next best thing is indeed the Shadow Price with the range mod activated. Did a compare/contrast with my SP against a Suros from someone in my clan yesterday and the bars were basically the same, except for the Suros' slightly improved stability and a clip size of six bullets more.

The Suros also has three perks to the SP's two, and obviously the Suros is a better gun - no arguing that... but if you're a fan of Exotic secondary weapons then the SP is definitely a worthy alternative.

Did not know you could get coins from a chest run, that might be the quickest option whilst also getting materials. Thanks for posting the video.

I'm also up for another raid, but would rather go from the start. Ideally as Fire Team leader so I can get rid of that bloody exclamation mark over Venus :P

It doesn't disappear. At least not for me anyway.

I need to Raid this week. Hit me up, even if i'm playing Evil Within.

Weapon packs and ships. Any time I see the shipyard selling a variant of my favourite ship (Kestrel) I buy it. Nothing else to spend the fucking stuff on.

I do love buying armour shader. I still have my first ship Phaeton Class V1 (although I have received a few from engrams).

Do all the shops have a stock refresh timer or are some fixed?

Daily solo on 28 is rather tough.. Anyone around to help?

Is it the one where you have fight off waves of Fallen and some servitors in that oblong room while Dinklage does something?
