I wish more people picked it up on the XBO under the assumption PSN could be a bit ropey :(

Meanwhile, in the Xbox One thread...

Friends activity is still down, that's poor.

I don't care about activity feed but we were up to the boss on the Destiny Raid and hoped to finish it - with no ability to invite people it's borked.

It's almost as if maintaining an international gaming network is slightly more complicated than people like to make out.

Fair point, I've been away this weekend so I didn't notice. The PSN maintenance winds me loads though as it's always worse that they say it's going to be.

edit - and obviously it's complicated, but no one else insists on the maintenance like Sony does.

Hoping we can get on and finish the Vault tonight and the maintenance doesn't mess it all up.

Not looking good, a few of us can't get past character selection. Now we know what we're doing though it won't take too long to get back to the final bit.

I'm up for trying the Raid this week (ps4: labarte). Level 27 Hunter (very close to 28, honest guv!), fully maxed auto rifle, shitty 'rare' sniper rifles in all damage flavours (maxed), exotic rpg (void) or machine gun (solar) depending on what is required.

Does the earphone/mic thing that came with the PS4 do a good enough job for comms?

Hopefully some more PSN issues due to maintenance. Me, Will and Dave trying nightfall. Chat absolutely fine. Me and Dave designated lemmings, doing damage to boss then dying and rejoining fire team.

Great till the end when it decides to not let me hear anyone else in fireteam. We join a party. Everything is fine for a minute, then Dave breaks up for no good reason on Will's end. Everyone else is crystal clear. Very odd.

On the other hand, someone got about 8 strange coins and someone got about the same amount of shards. I didn't get any of those things.

I kept admiring that chest plate. Front and back look lush, to top it off it has a max defense of 439, which will no doubt give you 30+ Light. Should assist you getting to level 30.

My luck I get awarded 8 Strange Coins on a frickin Monday! Will with the Shards though! :|

Weekly nightfall done and exotics all round for the fireteam.

I got an(other) Icebreaker, my two companions got the titan helm with the LED's and the titan helm with the mohawk and the ward of dawn blinding buff, respectively. 500 rep too was a nice surprise!

God knows how I'm going to get to Level 28 at this rate. Nothing seems to be dropping for me. Guess I will have to try and save up for another visit to Xur. Currently have 6 coins. 23 do-able by the weekend?

I reckon so. 9 from weekly on heroic to come from tomorrow and then just play the strike playlists. It's how I got the one's I needed last week and you have the time hopefully.

Nightfall done. Took a bit of fiddling with the cheese method, as it ressed me outside only to get killed, but all went well in the end. Got a legendary scout rifle - been wanting one for ages, and although its not The Calling, it will tide me over until I get the marks for one.

Sorry to Hardbattle for disappearing just now. Either my router or BT decided to kick me off for some reason.

Looks like the Mythoclast is getting a nerf.

  • Pocket Infinity
    • Enhanced Battery Perk has now been replaced with the Speed Reload Perk

Having to reload every 3 shots is pretty lame. With the rapid fire on top, it means you'll be reloading the weapon more than shooting things with it.

  • Raid - Vault of Glass
    • Templar Encounter
      • Kill volume added to sniper platforms to prevent players from sitting on top of them

No more cheap sniping the boss after the relic bearer supers his shield off I guess.

  • Auto Rifles
    • Base Damage decreased by 2%
    • Reduced Precision Damage multiplier from 1.50 -> 1.25 (head shot bonus)
    • Stability decreased by 4% - 17% (driven by stat value)
  • Scout Rifles
    • Base damage increased by 6%
    • Damage vs. Combatants increased by 6% - 25% (based on tier)
    • Improved target acquisition, plus additional recoil tuning.

Nice timing on me getting that scout rifle :D
