Raid done!

Pockets full of nothing but ascendant shards and a white shader, but it still felt immensely satisfying seeing the boss finally go down. :sealclap:

Good work all. Time for bed! :D

Two different teams in one night nice work!! We didn't have much luck with the loot either. (Except for Hardbattle that is, Atheon must have liked his jokes!!

We tried the nightfall and got to the last part before we wiped and Hardbattle had to get some kip. His new gun has something silly like 6-700 bullets or something ridiculous. I think he's destined to be on Oracle duty forever :lol:

We got to the vault tonight also! Sorry I had to drop out folks but the wife had made dinner and was berating me and so was pushing it as it was. But tomorrow we will do it...hopefully!

So much fun and a lot of laughs, particularly in the labyrinth and crazy jumping bit. Great stuff, game just gets better and better. :)

Atheon has been vanquished by the late night Raid team!! Great stuff guys, should be a walk in the park next week. :)

Good night last night, finally killed that bugger. Nearly a week of late nights for 6 ascendant shards and a spirit bloom. Yay! Same again next week!?!

I need to get up to level 27 I think before going back in the Raid. 26 did feel slightly underpowered. More Spirit Bloom farming then , joy.

I've not tried it yet only lvl 26 but due to my poor skills I'm thinking lvl 28 with at least some exotic armour & a weapon.

God the PVP in this is fucking terrible isn't it.

See a lvl 10, shoot eight rounds into his head, die instantly, once you're dead half his shield goes down from your bullets apparently travelling 10mph finally reaching him yet doing no damage inexplicably. Repeat.

If you don't have a hip firing auto aiming shooting round corners fusion rifle and you don't have a requires no skill super you can get fucked basically. Great.

Right now three of my team have 0 points with 5 minutes remaining, the whole enemy team is running around with fusion rifles hip firing round corners.

The pvp is fantastic, but because you die so quickly compared to, say, Halo, you really do need a team with decent comms. Makes the world of difference. The hip-firing fusion riflers you were playing were probably all sticking together and calling out placements, Heavy spawn etc.

I am hooked on Control, it is such a fun mode when in a good team. Is there any Muk Crucible team?

The thing I like about Control is that, where in other shooters capturing territories makes a timer tick up, here it just adds a multiplier to your kills. So even though the compulsion is to attack the zones, you don't have to.

Say, if you're winning and the enemy has two zones to your one, you can in theory all just hunker down at your base and wait for them to come to you, because controlling the zones means nothing if they aren't also killing you. And in turn that draws them away from their spots, making them easier to capture.

Nice twist on a familiar format.
