Is there plans to give you a matchmaking option for the Heroics like there is with the Strike playlist? Without it my armour is never going to be levelled up. I have Fusion Coils for days, but those Acendance Shards/Energy...

Was one Coin off getting the Ice Breaker too...hope squid face brings an exotic primary weapon along next weekend. With such weak armour I'd need some superior firepower if I'm ever gonna get to do the Raid.

I was such a grumpy twat last night! :blush: And I couldn't hear Moodmon, well I could, but it was very quiet.

I'm going to level up my two guns as much as possible today, I'm itching to get back to it now. :)

Also, major thanks to p1nseeker for helping us through, we'd never have got to Atheon without you, or got to those chests.

No problem. I too was having a drink or three so wasn't much help by the end! I have been reminded that I'm due to be hosting a pub quiz tonight so can't help with Atheon's final demise i'm afraid. Though i'm sure someone from here will be happy to help.

Shame you arent on PSN, as I'm on the same stage of the bounty, but havent bothered to ask anyone if they're up for it as I know they'll probably get next to nothing out of doing it I expect. Would be nice if everyone on PSN/Xbox that are at the last stage of the Thorn bounty could post if they need help and we could get it sorted in a group or something.

Ive just managed to get complete the thorn bounty after an hour and a half of trying. Ice breaker helped alot with its infinite ammo and ive got an arc zombie apocolypse machine gun that i only used one consumable for.

In the decode 3 runes room, its ok until the 3rd rune when 4 wizards come out. That was a case of running all the way back and trying to snipe them off at the top of the stairs.

In the final room I cleared out the adds, knights with either the sniper or the machine gun if they got too close, then i ran to the left and kept the hive rancor thing behind the far left post and rock whilst i waited for the drop ships. Occasionally Id run back to the "safet" room to catch a breather if knights and wizards started to overwhelm me. Then Try to clear any adds, then run back when the coast is clear to my spotn on the left behind the rock and pillar to wait for the next drop ship and pick off more adds. Then when the unwed did spawn it was back to the safe room to pick off his wizard chums with the sniper.

Now ive got thorn after all that, it's all im going to use. Is it any good?

God the PVP in this is fucking terrible isn't it.

See a lvl 10, shoot eight rounds into his head, die instantly, once you're dead half his shield goes down from your bullets apparently travelling 10mph finally reaching him yet doing no damage inexplicably. Repeat.

If you don't have a hip firing auto aiming shooting round corners fusion rifle and you don't have a requires no skill super you can get fucked basically. Great.

Right now three of my team have 0 points with 5 minutes remaining, the whole enemy team is running around with fusion rifles hip firing round corners.

Amazing. I had the exact same problem with you. Could hear you, but you were very, very quiet. Like the opposite of Kingford in a F1 race. Bit of a problem when I was on LeChuck guard duty as you tried to use the relic to kill those shields. Might have to party chat next time.

Yes, full marks to p1nseeker for not disowning us as we failed to master jumping. Showing us where the chests were helped as well. Especially for Mr Fucking Monte Carlo. Not jealous.

That raid PDF is a good read. It turns out the cleanse bubble works like a titan bubble...only you can shoot out of it. EVERYONE ON THE MIDDLE PLATFORM!

Friday at work I complained to a fellow Destiny player how I at level 26 am still rocking blue weapons. "Yeah, I have been unlucky with drops". Today I carry 2 exotic and 4 legendary weapons, and just picked a new exotic bounty.

Hide under the metal platform!

Use years of muscle memory, shooter dead aim, dexterity, bounding from platform to rock hip firing like a space magic toting cowboy on speed dealing death and damage with grenades as accurate as laser locked missiles, chaining supers with the fireteam. Or hide in a ditch under the platform and cheese it. 2nd option is actually possible.

8pm tonight for the resumption of our raid on the final boss battle. We may need one more though as it sounds like P1nseeker is out (thanks again for your help last night dude).

Anyone up for it (PS4)? Preferably someone who has played the boss battle previously and understands the mechanics at play.
