This game could do with custom quick-swap gear load outs.

Yeah, it could actually. A simple wardrobe where you get to save presets for PvE or PvP and then combinations for Solar / Arc damage between weapons / talents etc.

It has a lot more pressing matters though to be fair, like events actually worth doing :D

That is correct. And you can only equip one exotic weapon at a time, too.

Though I'm not sure if an exotic cloak counts, given that it doesn't contribute any stats. Heck, I'm not even sure if there IS an exotic cloak...

And yeah, one weapon and one piece of armour equipped at any time.

At least having multiple exotic weapons you can switch between will be useful later on when new raids come out and there's a variety of shields which need burning. Armour on the other hand is all pretty bland other than the specific unlocks.

Thanks, I think I'm going to wait on the sniper rifle for Patience & Time to appear. It does Arc Damage, Radar stays active & you have active camo.

The helmets all seem to the same defence stats, it's just a case of which design/skill unlocks you like.

The Helm of Saint has nice unlock that blinds enemies who enter your ward of dawn.

That Icebreaker is very nice to use. On the downside you can only ever shoot 6 shots in quick succession before you have to hide/recover. Luckily its quite quick to replenish itself. It does leave the level littered in green ammo packs. lol!

Just played through the weekly again for today's bounty, only this time I have a void auto rifle, and the void burn skull is on. Serious carnage! :eyebrows:

Top tip for using telemetries is to make sure its still active when you cash in your bounties because the boost equates to 1-2 upgrade levels even on Legendary or Exotic weapons. Its also worth noting, that the primary weapon telemetry you buy from Xur for 1 coin actually contains 3 x 30 minute packs.

Got the Ice Breaker too. I also picked up the Helmet Engram, which gave me the Titan Helm I got from Xur a couple of weeks back. Dismantled it - 2 shards. Fuck you very much, Bungie! :lol:

What would really come in handy is an option to spawn at the Tower when you boot up the game or up switch characters.

I'm gonna buy voidfang vestments. I've already got the dark souls chestpiece which is for the sunsinger class, so makes sense to get some tip-top void gear too. I prefer the way it looks and I prefer void skills in general too.

Triple Axion bolts are :wub:

(Still prefer Sunsinger grenade lobbing overall though).

It's annoying that you can only equip one exotic armour, I've spent the last 30 mins looking through the various options for the Titan Class & I'm going to save my strange coins for the Crest of Alpha Lupi, it increase ammo for auto rifle & special & lets me revive teammates faster.

Guns I still have not made my mind up. Sniper Rifle I like the camouflage option on Patience & Time & Auto Rifle I have no preference so will get any. I want the Super Good Advice machine gun though.

I think I am going to save my coins this week & not get the helmet or sniper rifle.

I don't understand this, what the hell have you been doing all this time? The other night I hit rank 6 with the Vanguard. Everyone who had the game at launch should easily be rank 3 by now unless they've been hammering the Crucible.

Maybe he has been levelling up a faction?

I wouldn't hold out too much on the weapons gospvg.

You're going to want a variety of weapons depending on what enemy type you're going against. You can always get away with not levelling the weapons up all the way.

Whereas switching out armour is a lot less effective, considering their effects aren't as great. Plus, you'll need to level your armour up all the way to reach light level 30, which means swapping it out is a bad idea (unless you fucking love farming shards ;))

I've mentioned this a couple of times in party chat, the choice of orbit or tower when you log in would save a needless load screen.

I have super good advice and the recoil makes it borderline unusable! Maybe I can steady it up a little when it's levelled but at the moment i'm not impressed.
