I took a chance on this last week and got rewarded in a big way with the Knucklehead Radar helmet for my Hunter. Now I'm aiming down the sight of my AR and still tracking movement around me. It's amazing. :D

Tonight I shall finally reach Vanguard Rank 3 which I shall celebrate by spending 150 tokens on Doctor Nope. Also, Bad Juju is imminent; just need a certain amount of points in Crucible. Also, I need just 8 more rare or better Fusion Rifles to dismantle for an exotic weapon.

Here's hoping Xur sells something excellent on the weapon front. Sod armor, I need weapons.

edit: fucking hell Xur, 23 Strange Coins for a weapon? How about 9 and a hug?

Argh. If that sniper rifle did Void damage I'd snap it up. But I have The Supremacy from the Queen's Wrath that does solar damage, and the Vanguard Epitaph that does arc. I can't justify another sniper rifle unless it's void damage.

Looks like it's the Voidfang vestments for me, I don't use axion bolts. But the grenade energy, and extra ammo for both hand cannons (my weapon of choice) and special weapons will come in handy.

Which means it would be pointless to waste motes on that engram. I wonder if Xur will ever sell weapon engrams.

From what I'm reading the fact that the Icebreaker generates its own ammo is a godsend in PVE and a bit of a game-changer at boss battles. I've got both of the snipers you've mentioned too but this seems too good to pass up.

Yea wasn't too long. Sorry I had to dash for 5 mins during the game my baby woke up, I came back and you were gone.

Song joined us killed 12 enemies and got a legendary engram and I got fuck all lol for over 100 kills. Jammy git.

That Titan helm looks tasty, think I might need a few more coins.

Anyone for harder strike tonight? Once we get to the priesty cunt we can hide in the back and kill him. The problem is getting there!

I'm up for that Baring :) Need more coins.

Although saying that I'm disappointed with Xur. I need weapons, specifically a stronger primary if I'm going to cut it in the raid. Doesnt seem much point spending on a new Titan helmet when the Queens Guard one is pretty decent already.

I'm going to ignore all the negativity surrounding DriveClub & bury my head in the sand on Forza Horizon 2.

Will be online from around 5pm this evening to try and get some more strange coins & get that sniper rifle from Xur.

Also need to farm Mars for materials so I can upgrade my chest armour.

Good times finishing the raid last night, cheers for that guys :) Think I'll pass on Hard mode until I've levelled up a bit more.

Got 13 Strange Coins, throw me some invites today/tonight esp. if going for the higher level Weekly Strike, gotta get those extra 4 coins for Ice Breaker this weekend!

I only have 18 and have already completed the weekly at level 26. Is it possible to get 5 more by Saturday? Could someone carry me through the weekly @ 28 please? :)

18 strange coins is enough for any of the armour bits, or the sniper rifle. It's 23 motes of light for a random exotic engram.

Look at the list of exotics available for your class on here: http://destinynews.net/exotics-destiny/

Take a look at the specific unlocks on each bit of armour and then just set out to buy that one piece. It's pointless buying something this week and then realising you want to replace it with something else because the unlocks are better for that item.

The loot is so fucking shit in this it's not funny.

The only legendary stuff I got from engrams was from before the patch. I got a 'legendary package' for levelling the cryptarch which turned into two blue engrams, and I got a flipping class item I've had about five of, and a shitty gun.

I'm not desperate to level as quickly as possible, but I'd love a legendary or primary exotic of the type I use.

They could easily sort it out. People won't be playing in six months if they don't.

BUY. YOUR. LEGENDARIES.

No worries man.

And yeah, one weapon and one piece of armour equipped at any time.

At least having multiple exotic weapons you can switch between will be useful later on when new raids come out and there's a variety of shields which need burning. Armour on the other hand is all pretty bland other than the specific unlocks.

I'm gonna buy voidfang vestments. I've already got the dark souls chestpiece which is for the sunsinger class, so makes sense to get some tip-top void gear too. I prefer the way it looks and I prefer void skills in general too.

Doesn't really make up for running the raid this week and getting nothing but 3 ascendant energy :hmm:
