I hate the cryptarch, level 11 and so far not a single purple or yellow engram!

In fact the only good thing I've had was a blue that became a purple gun.

I know its RNG but its beginning to get personnel!

Made all the sweeter because each victory was an amazing comeback from an opening panning! We just have to hold the control points for long enough for a tower to assemble. Only the Pretorians can capture them for the vex. I watched a team do it last night before following them in through the door, then I done got trapped in the first little bit of the raid and had to quit out! We'd definitely need a team of six, having watched them do it.

The loot is so fucking shit in this it's not funny.

The only legendary stuff I got from engrams was from before the patch. I got a 'legendary package' for levelling the cryptarch which turned into two blue engrams, and I got a flipping class item I've had about five of, and a shitty gun.

I'm not desperate to level as quickly as possible, but I'd love a legendary or primary exotic of the type I use.

They could easily sort it out. People won't be playing in six months if they don't.

Up to level 27 now and finally got a purple from the cryptarch last night! Shame it was a piece of armour less impressive than the one I purchased the night before. Oh well.

How much does the Xur stuff cost? Think I might need some strange coins if anyone is around this morning to help me through the harder weekly strike?

I was working to the idea it was 23 strange coins. I need 6 more if that's the case.

I think its 13 strange coins for armour and 23 for a weapon.

25 23 motes of light for an exotic engram (possibility of it being helm, gloves or chest each week). But it's also random as to which class it decrypts into, so it's not guaranteed to be useful unless you have all 3 classes levelled to 20 or above.

The best thing about Ice Breaker, according to Destinypedia anyway, is that it has the 'No Backpack' ability. This means the weapon has no ammo, instead generating it itself over time.
