Yeah, i just used 30 out of my 60-odd to max my current gear to Level/Light 29. I still have plenty left for any future upgrades.

Hope you're not burned out on the Nightfall Curtis, I'm going to need your help later! :lol:

I'll help you with it if we clear this Raid boss without incident in less than 30 mins. Deal? ^_^

Best part about the Iron Banner seems to be all the gear being so cheap after you get rank 3. 10 marks for the rocket launcher means you should be able to get a fair amount of Ascendant energy really cheap. Should be the same for the shards I suppose.

Saying that the game's been throwing energy at me instead of shards lately, which is kinda annoying when you need to level up your armour more than your weapons.

I'll be on again just after 9 tonight. Planning on the daily to start then I want to crack the weekly, probably on level 22 (which was actually quite tough with the void damage modifier).

Anyone up for that?

Has anyone run Striker for the final part of a Raid. Wondering how Fist of Havoc does against Supplicants in a pinch. Does it disintegrate them safely or cause them to suicide bomb killing you in the process?

You're better off finding a pillar to perch on, or even the portal gates, and pick off supplicants from there. When you get the buff just spam the boss with grenades and use timed double jumps if he starts firing at you.

I've just been given a Super POX VLO (pulse rifle) from the Cryptarch, now both my Warlock and Titan have them, both with awesome upgrade perks.

I'm starting to think the Cryptrach has slept with my Mum and he's trying to sweeten me up.

Today I went to Cryptarch with three blues I got on the nightfall. They all became Galahad-E autorifles. Decoding those levelled up the cryptarch, which got me another three blues. They all became Galahad-E autorifles.

Haha. Mr. Ben, BaringUSA and myself just tried the weekly strike at level 28 and we couldn't even make a dent in the archon priest with the constant adds and his teleporting bullshit. What an absolute twat.

There's a place you can camp from and take barely any damage — under some grid-like structure at the far end as you walk into the area.

Yeah that was pretty ridiculous it has to be said. The void damage worked against us there I think more than to our advantage, with all the enemies that were bombarding us with void explosions. Good effort though getting to the actual boss mind.

I joined Takizawa and psRud and did it at lvl 26 instead - what a difference. Was like a stroll in the park compared to what we had to put up with. We had so much heavy ammo we could just shoot the archon in the face and he didn't budge or shoot back while doing so :lol:

Oh man it was so hard, still good fun to play thought. Can't get rewarded for everything.

Think I'll try it at the lower level tomorrow.

Another evening lost to Destiny, I don't regret it one bit!

Came away with a bunch more strange coins and legendary void and solar sniper rifles. One was called Final Boss. Awesome ^_^
