Yeah cheers for popping on. That weekly proved to be quite tough. I had another try after the two of you left and got him down to the point where the stealth guys come, but I just couldn't keep them off me. Damn it! Maybe tomorrow.

Was so tough and so annoying after getting so close. It was down to the lack of heavy ammo and no void secondary for me I reckon. Will fix that tonight when I hit vanguard 3 and get me a shedload of purple weapons. Can't believe you nearly managed it on your own marmite.

Although I never experienced any, our party experienced a ton of drop outs and disconnects post patch whereas before, we'd played all day & experienced none. GREAT JOB BUNGIE!!

In other non news the VOG continues to bring the cunt out in me, individual acts of stupidity squeezing every last bit of fun out leaving me in a complete rage ha!

You might get kicked from a fireteam if someone is trying to solo it, or do it as a twosome. I've also kicked people who have joined me, therefore making the enemies tougher, and then ran around like a headless chicken not killing much. No-one from here though, I don't think.

Does anyone know a guy called "smokey bacon" or something like that? He added me as a friend and invited me to a party a few days ago. When I got in there it was him and a kid who sounded about 6 swearing like a sailor. :lol:

Or believe it or not, some kick you to only bring in their buddies near the end rewards.

:facepalm: At first I thought you meant, like, an actual party. Like he sent his address and you arrived at his house to find him and an angry child smoking cigars and drinking Manhattans.

It may just have been someone who saw you rocking the Raid gear or shader. I've had a few randoms attempting to friend / message me asking for help over the past week.

The late night Raid team had our first go at the Raid last night. Took us a while to actually get the Vault opened but we made it up to the Oracles bit and called it a night.

When I check on the Bungie app it says we didn't clear any Raid Activities!! Hoping that doesn't mean our save is screwed and we have to go back to the start tonight.

Horrid nights sleep. I'll blame the troublesome and elongated Raid session, plus the fact I didn't realise it was so late (11pm) and I was still drinking Red Bull. :facepalm:

Told myself no Destiny today, but I'm twitching already. lol! Stupid cracky game.

Agreed. Was brilliant. Not sure what counts as an Activity in the Raid. Hopefully all will be ok. Think if we had to do the first bit again we would clear it pretty quick.

There are loads of areas like that in the game. You can (or could) glitch through walls by hopping onto your sparrow and wiggling the stick. Kings Watch is one, The jovian complex is another. There's nothing really of note in these areas, just half finished geometry.

Some, possibly all of the contents of the first two DLCs is known, it was found somehow by destinydb.com months ago. A short while ago someone had a bug where their menu displayed DLC missions which matched the names of the info on destinydb.com exactly. For some reason (clicks) gaming news sites went mental posting the video everywhere as new information.

IIRC the first two DLCs each add 3 story missions, 2 strikes, a new raid and some multiplayer maps. Plus new items etc.

At the moment the only totally new place is the reef*, where a raid will take place. Everything else takes place on existing planets but presumably new locations, possibly spoking off the existing environments. The dark below missions take place underneath the cosmodrome and inside the moon, for example.

*New as in "it was in the reveal trailer"

Judging by the Grimoire Card slots we've already exhausted people who will be visiting the Tower as well.

I'm guessing more grimoire cards will get added. Also there are more places in that "events" area for vendors to stand which haven't been used yet. But yeah, I think Iron Banner/Queen wrath etc will be regular events which cycle in and out.

I'm level 27, and I have a fully upgraded Last Word Exotic hand cannon, and was getting one-shorted by level 23 guys. Fuck the Iron Banner, and fuck PVP. I want more PVE content.

You're level 20, he's level 20. If he has a fully upgraded whatever he'll be doing the same damage as your fully upgraded whatever. Your defense means you can withstand a bit more damage, but then 90% of everything in Destiny is a one shot kill which does thousands of damage anyhow.

It still seems like my super takes forever to charge up (the whole point of my build is being able to super and lob ten grenades every 40-60 seconds) so it's a bit pointless for me.

Judging by the reaction around the web, IB has flopped like a wet fish.

It's not surprising when all it offers are purples which are worse than what the majority of players already have.

I was expecting it to be like a season of PvP, with ranking on wins and losses and proper matchmaking and stuff. Not a week event. If anything, gear was too easy to come by for me. I got loaded out so quickly that all these events mean nothing to me.

If I bought some reputation gear and then the Iron Banner or Raids provided better gear beyond that with more stats and light level (raids might offer better gear, not 100% sure tbh), then people may have something to work towards. Right now, their events have been bloody dismal.

Currently their gear treadmill is destroying purple after purple and farming chests for mats.
