LeChuck - cant seem to quote right now but sounds like we might have a good pool of people for the raid :)

I was thinking this weekend as that will give me enough time to level up hopefully and maybe even acquire some slightly stronger weapons. It will also mean having plenty of time to spend on it without feeling like I'm getting no sleep ahead of a working day!

How about Friday or Saturday evening? That way we can resume again on one of the following days assuming we don't nail it in one ^_^

I am same as LeChuck, only thing I haven't experienced is the raid. I don't mind the Saturday, sadly in work late Friday so cannot do it then. In the meantime, might have a go at the new nightfall strike Tuesday/Wednesday if anyone is up for it. I say this despite having no idea what it is going to be.

Been levelling some other classes. Hunter is useless for PvE. No health and the supers are rubbish. Gave up around 10 and decided to try Warlock, which I am enjoying much more. Also a heads up. If you have unlocked the 2nd class for anyway, then all new characters (whether they are the same class or something different) can pick their alternate subclass from the start. So I'm currently a level 4 Sunsinger.

Hunters are far from rubbish, my golden gun came in very handy in the Vault of Glass.

All my blue armour is 15 and and I'm about 24.5 so I think I have hit the Armour wall until I get a glimpse of a purple. I think I had one Purple Engram but that two faced pikey bastarding Cyrptowank turned it into a Mote of light or ascended shard :(

Don't fret about it. It's only numbers. The moment to moment gunplay is just as glorious at level 27 as it was at level 1.

While I'm at it, I'll be on for an hour or two on PS4, so if anyone wants to do the daily heroic, hit me up.

I don't think it does. You can do the Strike Playlist to get matched up with other guardians (the one to the right of the moon with the vanguard symbol)

The one's on the left you need to set up your own team.

Which is just stupid, as they obviously have the tech to make this system work. How else do the vanguard missions work?

I want to do the weekly raid but finding two other people on at the same time as me is near impossible!

I'm at level 26 (some upgrades away from 27) on the xbone and would be interested in doing a raid, although I'd need to plan it in because of family commitments.

Main issue I have is I don't think my weaponry is up to scratch at the moment to attempt the raid.

Just managed to do the Weekly Nightfall mission. It was tough but we scraped through after a wipe that could've been avoided if I had been paying more attention to where my teammates had perished. I ran slightly too far and into the path of a Psion instead of darting behind a box to revive one of my team. The boss went down reasonably quickly though once I pelted him with Arc Heavy Machine Gun bullets.
Got a (solar) legendary shotgun out of it meaning that I now have a legendary shotgun for each element... it's a pity that I don't really use shotguns at all though. One of my team got the Monte Carlo Exotic assault rifle. So jelly.

I can't agree with this! Hunters are excellent at heavy precision damage and supporting team members, plus they have terrific agility to jump back to a safe spot. Just don't expect us to be able to go head to head punching out bosses' lights. Golden gun is a very powerful Super if used correctly.

I'm a sliver away from level 27 and bought my final purple item last night, so it's just a case of focussing on material gathering now to reach a suitable level for the raid, and then choosing a luxury colourful cape when I get a few more motes of light. I'm also working way at the golden bounty machine gun and when that's done I will go back to rockets (the counter resets if you swap around since gun dislikes rocket launchers apparently(!)). My outfit is a complete hotchpotch of different armour suits and the helmet looks as if I have a nasty fungal outbreak, it will however give me 4 golden gun shots when levelled.

OK - I want to do a raid. Perhaps tonight? Perhaps tomorrow? PS4, I'm level 26 and quite inept, but it'll be entertaining at least! If it happens, it'll have to be after 10pm as I finish work around 9.30pm. Anyone up for it? PSN is idlemichael - add me if you're interested!

Today's the final day of the Queen's Wrath event and I managed to hit rank 3 reputation by the skin of my teeth. I was rather hoping for a surprise in the mail or something, as opposed to access to a bunch of useless Rare weapons.

Anyone on PS4 looking to Raid tonight? I haven't done it with my Hunter this week so I'd like to give it a go before the reset, see if I can snag some actual loot as opposed to materials.

I'm going to play this for the first time tonight (PS4). Is there anything specific I should concentrate on doing?

Anyone else just starting out (or at a low level) who wants a teammate, send me an invite! :)

Just do all the story missions, but keep a look out for hidden chests and other stuff you can collect.

P.S. Skill is rewarded ;)
