Xur is back for another week and here is the stock:
-Helm of Saint 14(Titan)
-Acholyophage Symbiote(Hunter)
-Sunbreakers(Warlock)
-Red Death

I have 24 Motes and 22 Strange Coins. So looks like I'll be rockin' a new helmet this weekend! And heck, might even roll the dice on an Exotic schematic (assuming he's selling those too). Why not eh.

Typical the week I have 29 Strange Coins there's nothing I want from Xur. Wishing I hadn't missed out on Suros last weekend.

Need to get myself a good Auto rifle, what's the best legendary one to buy atm?

Doctor Nope from the Vanguard vendor over by the Shipwright (right path from Tower spawn) keeps the radar active as you're aiming down the sight. That's the one I'm saving for!

Whats the best way to get strange coins? I've still only got a handful!

Weekly Heroic Strike gives 3, 6 or 9 depending on the difficulty you do it on.

If I'm right, you do the level 22 you can still try the others for a further 3 each time. Or you can go straight in to the level 28 and get all 9 in one go.

He's got an exotic pulse rifle that I would really like. Unfortunately I don't have enough strange coins and am away now for the weekend so won't be able to earn any :(

Was looking at that one along with Shadow Price. The greater impact stat had me swaying towards Shadow Price but the grenade cool down upgrade on Doctor Nope could sway me back!!

I haven't tried Suros rifle yet, the ungodly annoying noise it makes means I will never ever use it.

Suros has been great for me so far. Using the High Calibre Rounds means you can basically stunlock any mob on strikes which doesn't have the unflinching modifier. Makes killing things like Colossus' a doddle.

Bottom half of the clip doing more damage combined with Focused Fire (deal more damage when zoomed in) means you can put out some really good damage too.

Shadow Price > Doctor Nope/Vanquisher/Hard Light

Better stability, better range, better impact. Does the "radar while scoped" thing.

That's me swayed back to Shadow Price. Been saving my ascendant energy so will be able to level it all the way pretty easily over the weekend.

Did a bit of research on this. Apparently Shadow Price is the better all-round gun with a mod for zero recoil and greater range. Nope is good in closer quarters and for spraying out bullets in concerted bursts. Sounds like it'd be more ideal for taking down bosses and close-knit games of Control in the Crucible.

I'm a Scout Rifle kinda guy, but I just bought Dr Nope for the sole purpose of unloading the 72 bullet clip into bosses weak spots. My finger can't take the manual firing required to wear them down one shot at a time. lol!

With the way I play it sounds like Shadow Price is the way to go for me. Enjoying my Legendary Scout rifle but like Curtis I've had enough of all those trigger pulls!!

Dr Nope is awesome for my preferred playing style of steaming right in like a complete bellend without a care in the world.

The low impact of the gun makes it a bit useless in PVP, just like the hard light exotic I've got. You need about 6-8 bodyshots or 2-3 headshots to down someone! Considering the number of instakill weapons (shotgun, pulse rifle, fusion rifle, melee, grenades, sniper rifle) a low impact autorifle just doesn't cut it. You're dead before their shield pops half the time :(
