I'm getting completely pissed off with the RNG in this, I've had absolutely zero legendary or exotic items across two lvl 25s, the only two pieces I have (on both) are the Queen's head and Chest pieces.

I'm sure it'll pass ;p

Don't worry keep going mate the patch helped massively last night. I'd never had anything legendary drop and last night it was 2 in a couple of hours and about 15 blues. They have definitely improved.

I was doing the level 24 strike playlist of that helps.

Weekly strike on all difficulties for 9 coins. 1 public event every day (it's random between coins, motes and shards though). Other than that, I'm not sure. Maybe run 28 Strike Playlist for blue engrams and hope for some?

I assume if I do the weekly strike on 'Hard' (26) and I get six coins, I won't get 3 more for doing it on normal? Level 29 is out of the question :)

Good point about public events - I need all of those drops so they're definitely worth doing.

Yeah. If you did it on 26, you got 3 coins for the 22 strike, and 3 for the 26 strike. You'll only be able to get the next 3 coins if you do it on 28.

The Daily Heroic, once you put the difficulty above default, also gives out Ascendant Material. I just don't know if Strange Coins are in that list alongside Shards and Energy.

For Public Events, clearing on Gold Tier gives you a chance at shards/energy/motes/coins there and then, plus the first gives you a guaranteed extra one in the postmaster?

Myself and Barry will be trying to finish our raid tonight (we're at the final boss) and we're a man down. Can anyone help? (PS4)

Yeah we are a man down, got 5 strong players, we are at the last boss Atheon.

Would be very greatful if someone who has already completed the raid could help? Or a level 28?

Well no destiny for me tonight as away with work. Did the weekly last night at l26 difficulty. Wiped on the last boss 2 times but got him on the third. It's a tough one. No purple drops at all but now have 17 coins ready for xur.

Focus on strikes next to hopefully hit l27 tomorrow night.

Still totally consumed by this game. Bloody love it.

Many thanks to Krypt and Gamepaused last night. Thanks to them I finally completed a Queen's Bounty AND the Weekly Strike, netting me my first Legendary item and enough extra coins to buy some treats from Xur at the weekend. After a long wait between level 23-24 (for some reason), I seem to be really picking up the pace now.

Still can't get enough of this game. It's invading my thoughts all day long!

Yeah, there's a definite stalling effect, from 20 to 23 is rapid owing to suddenly acquiring lots of blue light enabled gear and easily levelling it up. Then, until the queens missions came along anyway, there was a hiatus before you could buy the purples. Then there another hiatus once you reach the point of needing the transcendent items to fully level them.

Think we nearly have enough peeps for an XO raid attempt!

I would be up for giving it a go and know there are quite a few now at 26 or 27. I know it's not particularly well suited to gunslinger hunter but I've got the sweet Vox pulse rifle levelled to 277 for precise bursts against vex weak spots, a void sniper(plus the more powerful queens solar sniper) and the level 20 void rocket launcher. Figure we could at least aim to complete the first section, which from watching Moz seems to be fairly straightforward if not necessarily easy, inorder to gauge our progress.

Nah I only got a legendary auto rifle as a reward, however my exotic auto rifle i've been ranking it up and now has 274 damage, also my sniper has a buff to oracles if i can manage that rank up today too.

Aye, was a good impromptu run that :) I really need to get above my lowly 22 level now, especially with this raid talk. I got a purple helmet last night which helped though.

Maybe I should get back to the crucible for a bit to get some other gear?

That's pretty much what I did. Was stuck around 23 for a while and played a ton of Crucible matches. Didn't get anything better than blues, some with Light, some not, but building up your Crucible marks let's you buy Legendary Armour from the Crucible dude at the tower. Bought 2 bits last night and jumped up to 25! Just need to get a better hat and slippers now.

I haven't been able to connect all day. First I get some nonsense message about "user generated media is not allowed for your account" and then something about chat and shit not allowed on my account - after that it doesn't connect. Tried everything short of deleting and reinstalling the game.

Fuck it, I'll read for a few hours and see if it fixes itself by the time I try again. Pretty annoying all the same.
